Hydro

The main benefit of smoking hydro is being able to tell yo boyz dat yu be puffin da hydro like a sumnabitch! Potheads round the world will praise you for the amazing weed you are smoking. Many will even refer to it as a strain of marijuana, instead of acknowledging the fact that it is merely a method of growing. I'd go for it. At $20 a gram, your friends will worship you, and possibly even spring for munchies next time you burn one.
 
TWENTY a gram? wtf! that's quite ridiculous if you ask me...where do you all live? and yeah that's correct, hydro is not a strain of cannabis...just a method of growing it. never once have i had someone offer me a gram of "hydro" or any bud for that high of a price per GRAM...and i'm not talking schwagg either...i mean, maybe if it's the
"top ah tha line grade A kindness" you might pay that much for it, like for "one hit shit"...but man. okay, i'm rambling now. whatever. enjoy and have some fun! =)

I got an ounce of hydro for 150. I am getting another ounce of homegrown for free. I helped a friend in high places move into his new apartment.

I just don't like it when people say schwag is the same as hydro. If you took a strain of schwag and grew it hydroponicly , it would come out better because the plant doesn't need to use as much energy getting water from the soil. It can use the extra energy to increase its reproductive organs (buds)
 
hell, take any bag seed and grow it out its gonna be 25% or more better than the product that you had... taking in factors like.. 1. you know what youre doing 2. you know what you are doing and the most important number 3. ... know what you are doing

it's a foregone conclusion that controlling more of the variables in a situation is more likely to yield desirable results..
in other words, things are better when they're grown hydroponically

Some old timers would argue that OUTDOOR grown right is the best. The best thing about indoor growing is the fact you can control so many variables. Besides, not all indoor bud is "HYDRO", though most of the time it is.
 
i've heard from a few friends that you can tell if a bud's been grown hydroponically by breaking the stem, revealing a hollow center...any validity to this?
 
Look. I can prove you wrong. I have evidence. Why can't you get it through your head.
If you have water with the nutrients already in it , then it doesn't need to use energy on growing it from the soil. Therefore , the extra energy is used on the budding and THC production.
THERE IS SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE - YOU ARE WRONG!
 
I love the "scientific" examples you are giving. This sounds like a middle school science class. "Well you see I like water and it refreshes me so when I grow my buds in da water they be like 'Damn we refreshed, lets get big and dump some THC for owa boyz there.'"
If done correctly, hydroponic growing is probably better. People aren't really arguing about that (not that you've been able to figure that out)
People are saying that you can fuck one method up just as much as another. Poorly grown hydro can suck. The fact that it is grown hydroponically doesn't make impervious to the potential stupity of the pothead growing it.
 
I'm curious to know if there is any aereoponic (sp?) grown weed. I visited a farm a while ago where they grew veggies and stuff through aereoponics. The roots were situated in the air and the optimum, down to the molecule, amount of nutritional stuff was added. It was much more complicated than that, but it yielded higher quality veggies than hydroponics. Now i bet that would be some good fuckin weed lol

Indoor growing isn't almost always hydroponics either. Most people I know (and a huge share over at overgrow) grow organically indoors. Guess what, they always seem to have the better crops.
And by the way. MaximumHydro e-mailed me his "Scientific evidence". It stated that hydroponics grows marijuana faster. Nothing about potency or quality of the actual plant though. Funny how that works out huh.?

This is sad. Your crying over it just because I don't agree with you. Wipe those tears off you little boy. As long as I am smoking my hydro , I could give a shit if you all believe me.
 
Good weed is good weed, whether hydro, aero, or soil grown, the only advantages i have heard about hydro is that it might grow faster, but lots of stuff plays its part, what kind of lighting you use, fluorescent, MH or HPS lighting, nutes, how you take care of your plants and alot of it depends on how you harvest it, alot of good weed turns out to be schwag cause the person growing it doesn't harvest it properly, you can grow good weed from schwag seeds, i have seen it done before.
