I cannot find anything using google, and I don't have any access to a university library to do real research. I'd like to be pointed in the right direction or hear any journal articles or experiences people have with pure lysergamides other than LSD. This would be an interesting topic of discussion I've never seen discussed elsewhere.

Some particular chemicals I can't find anything about:
ergine (d-lysergic acid amide), which I've heard people talk about here on bluelight as if there is documentation on eating pharmaceutical grade ergine
chanoclavine
elymoclavine
lysergol
ergometrine
alpha-hydroxy-lysergic ethylamide
6-nor-LSD
6-nor-6-cyclopropyl-LSD
methysergide

Of all these, I am pretty sure that methysergide is actually used medicinally to treat migraines. A lot of people report psychedelic-like effects with higher doses.

Yeah methysergide is Sansert, but I'm seeing things saying it doesn't have psychedelic properties. I have a feeling that's bullshit and they mean it doesn't at the doses used medicinally.

Methysergide, along with many other lysergamides, can cause some pretty serious peripheral vasoconstriction, especially at doses that would probably be needed to produce psychedelic effects.

Indelibleface, that doesn't stop millions of people from eating morning glory or hawaiian baby woodrose seeds for their psychedelic effects. The vasoconstriction is a side effect many are willing to endure for the psychedelia. Why isn't there more information on pure isolated lysergamide alkaloid trips?

Can't the effect be dangerous with drugs like methysergide and some other ergot alkaloids?

I don't know of the dangers, especially of methysergide. That's what I'd like info on if anyone can find any...

It has a shitload - have a look at a site that deals with the effects of prescription drugs (like the British National Formulary), and you'll see a whole load associated with methylsergide, due to it's vasoconstrictor activity

Most of the time, peoples fingers and toes (and legs) drop off before the have any fun. I've seen in when I've been in the clinic.

To be specific about the dangers posed by vasoconstriction, you can find numerous reports of housewives who had such a bad migrane headache that they decided to take 8 of their Cafergot (caffeine and ergotamine) pills or 6 of their methylsergide pills, and then wound up losing all blood circulation in their legs/feet and ended up needing both limbs amputated due to gangrene.

I tried a high dose of Methysergide.
I threw up like I never did.
(i took something like 10mg, i don't remember....)

Prolonged use of methylsergide causes thickening of the walls of the heart - not a good thing. As LSD is relatively free of vasoconstrictor effects at psychologically active doses, it seems to be the exception, rather than the rule for lysergamides

are there any studies on 6-Nor-6-allyl-d-lysergic acid N,N-diethylamide d-tartrate,
6-Nor-6-cyclopropyl-d-lysergic acid N,N-diethylamide d-tartrate,
6-Nor-6-ethyl-d-lysergic acid N,N-diethylamide d-tartrate, or 6-Nor-6-propyl-d-lysergic acid N,N-diethylamide tartrate?
