How to Keep Out Of Cuffs

If you are a drug user and haven't got arrested in the past couple of years, or haven't gotten arrest ever, my question is how do you do it. Specifically what do you do and/or avoid to keep yourself from getting arrested.

Some people may just be lucky, but luck usually runs out.
Example :

Things I do :
I make sure to keep my vehicle spotless and smelling fresh. I do this because there have been many times police "mistake" cigarette smoke for marijuana or find a spec of "A greenish/brownish vegetative substance believe to be marijuana".

I also make sure to follow all traffic laws to keep from being pulled over such as following the speed limit, full stop at stop signs, wearing seat belt etc.. Although use your common sense, if the speed limit is 55 on the highway and everyone is going 65, don't go 55 and make yourself stick out.

I make sure my appearance is as inconspicuous as possible.I make sure the way i dress looks as normal as possible and not flashy. If you are white and try to dress black you are giving the police a reason to fuck with you. Also rims, tints, and a system on your car will maybe help you get laid but will definitely help you get pulled over.

I choose the people i hang out with wisely. I stay away from people who are loud, don't shut the fuck up and are always looking for attention. Chances are if they get arrested they won't shut the fuck up when talking to the police. Also if you haven't met there family and don't know where they live, they will probably be thinking the same thing when they are ratting you out. I try and only hang out with people who i have known for some time.

I always make sure the me & my passenger/passengers have the same story if we were to get pulled over. Also make sure to know birthdays, where each other lives, where you are going and where you are coming from. Inconsistent stories may not be probable cause, but it may lead to them looking for probable cause such as them all of a sudden smelling weed in the car.

Things I avoid :
I avoid posting in threads in which the topic is "whats you stash". Without a doubt cops do read that, and in this day and age a cop can argue to the prosecutor that, the responses in that thread are enough for a probable cause search warrant.

I avoid taking roads that are notorious for being infested by police. It may take me an extra ten minutes to get where i am going, but it is worth to avoid a possible encounter with the police.

I avoid conspicuous situations such as leaning in my friends window to talk to him at the local convenience store.

I avoid talking about things on the phone that to some may be illegal (Depending on your countries laws). I know that it is hard for police to get a phone tap warrant. Even though there not supposed to tap your phone without a warrant, they still do. All that means to the police is that they can't use those conversations in court to prosecute you. They will use those conversations to learn more about you and your activities.

People who have just been arrested. Even if they are your friend that shit goes out the window when they are facing 5 years. If you continue to hang out with someone who just got arrested it may not be too long before they want to introduce to their friend out of town who was looking for some weed.

Avoid house parties like the plague. Cops usually show up, and it is not uncommon for people to be searched.
 
Yeah I don't know who in their right minds posts in a "what's in your stash" thread. You're seriously admitting to actively possessing controlled substances. Crazy!
 
Let me warn yall....This thread better not get nowhere near being suggestions of how to break the law. Nobody better post shit about how to smuggle drugs, etc...You want to post about the harm reduction of avoiding gettin locked up, how to deal with police, fine. But yall better toe the line, thats all im sayin, or we gonna end up havin to close this. remember that and it should be fine, becuz remember,bluelight aint here to help you break the law.

Also, swim opiates....I dont know WTF you talking about about white people "trying to "dress black" but shit like that needs to stay outta DC. we dont tolerate no shit like that in here even if you feel like that is a innocent comment. you want to describe a certain way of dressin , talking, WTFever, you describe it then. say the type of clothes u mean dont be talking about "dressin black", etc. there aint no "BLACK" way to dress, and its offensive to say shit like that. would you say that dressin "preppy" is "dressing white"? No becuz there is many different styles of clothes white people wear just like there is many different clothes that black people wear too, it makes u sound mad ignorant to talk about "dressin black" like u think all black folks are the same and dress and act the same. I know you aint TRYIN to say that in your post and most likely didnt mean that, but whether or not u realize it, that is the attitude that u give off when u say some shit like that. Im just lettin u know, im sure u didnt mean it in no type of way but that kind of shit aint necessary in here.

been smoking weed/drugs for 6 years, not that long but still I haven't even gotten a possesion or paraphenelia ticket, mostly cause I'm paranoid and don't trust anyone. People give me shit for being so cautious but I'm not the one with drug charges on my record, better safe than sorry.

Always make sure your car is 100% nothing illegal including small stuff like the light above the license plate. Always drive carefully no swerving no speeding etc. Never smoke weed in the car if you have other drugs on you, and preferably only bring a joint/blunt not a pipe and only a small amount of weed that can be easily swallowed or tossed. Never bring rigs or anything when going to cop in a so called "known drug area" because if you get pulled over and are white you are getting searched, just wait til you get home(I know junkies can't wait to get home but its worth it to just wait) and always have something to drink to swallow stuff if necessary.

Also agree always have a story about what your doing but preferably just don't say anything at all unless you have a foolproof excuse. And yeah I only get/do drugs when I'm with my small group of close friends who I have known for years and trust completely, and I avoid dumb loud mouths who think they are cool because they do drugs because they will get caught and these same people will turn on you in an instant if there freedom is on the line. god I hate fucking snitches, they are always the douchebags who think they are the shit. Basically just have a good sense for people's character and integrity and avoid douchebags at all costs. Basically everything you covered I just wanted to highlight the major ones I agree with.

4.) Know who you're working with
5.) If you have to think twice about something with regards to "will this fuck me over", its probably a safer bet to not do it, whatever it may be.
6.) Keep your mouth closed. The less people who know you're doing illegal activites, the better. (This goes for everyone)
 
I've never been arrested because I live in BC and drug laws are so slack (at least in my town). Nobody is EVER charged or arrested for possession of weed. Cops might handcuff kids and give them the 'scare speech' about what they are about to do, but never do it. Even with other drugs, they usually just confiscate them. I can't think of one friend who served any kind of real punishment for personal possession. My coke dealer is in jail but he was caught with several ounces.

My dad was pulled over with an OZ of bud and the cop just took it. My friend was caught with a 1/2 oz and the cop... DUMPED IT OUT AND STOMPED ON IT! as soon as he walked away we just picked it up.

My new dealer was arrested last week for possession of meth ( I don't know how much) and he's out selling again already.

I walked by a cop two weeks ago with a gram of meth in my hand, I had just done the deal and saw him walk by. I just made a casual looking fist continued on.

I never worry about it really.
 
I've never been arrested and I think it's very easy to not get arrested. I don't do drugs in public and when I'm intoxicated I follow every law except for the drug law I am breaking by being high.

I wouldnt say its very easy not to get arrested. it depends on the drugs u do and where u get them at.

For a person who only smokes weed and buys it at the house of a close friend, sure i guess its easy not to get arrested.

For a person whose addicted to heroin and has to drive to cop on hot-ass dope blocks every single day, its very easy TO get arrested.

Even if you avoid it for a while, eventually youll get hit. the majority of people in that game do. if you dont you lucky, and there is some people who are lucky like that dont get me wrong but when you cop in the hood everyday, for years and years, the risk of gettin caught goes up and up until every time you go it feels like you always just waitin for the other shoe to drop. I was almost relieved when i finally got arrested the first time, like "ahhh.....Finally...."

not like i WANTED to get arrested, but i had been doin drugs for 9 years by the time i finally got popped and had been doin heroin for 5, and i knew that i had been lucky...I wanted to keep it that way but i could never help that knawing feeling in the back of my head like i had been too lucky for too long.

So, that aint really the topic but i just wanted to point that out.

The people who say "Not gettin arrested is easy! Duh, just dont be stupid!" are oversimplifying it. once u into certain drugs in certain scenes....its pretty much just a matter of fact that you will prolly get arrested sooner or later. it sucks but its true. when u talk about street coppin and that daily lifestyle, no matter how fuckin slick you are, someday it just might not be your lucky day, you feel me? There is NEVER somethin you can do to make it 100% safe.

how easy or hard it is to stay out of trouble really depends on the drugs u doin and the lifestyle u live.
 
I have avoided arrest on several occasions by remaining calm and confident. When pulled over with illicit substances in the car or stopped while carrying, it is imperative that one shows no fear or anxiety. Demonstrating these emotions are red flags in the cops mind and more often than not will encourage him/her to nose around until some flimsy excuse for probable cause is discovered. Often fear and anxiety will stand as reason to search.

That being said, I survived my youth without drug arrest with a healthy dose of dumb luck.
 
I would rather be lucky then good. But I agree with Lacey it depends on where you are getting your shit from. Down here in the south being white in the wrong neigborhood is PC to be pulled over and searched. I dare you to "flex your rights" at best youll get lauged at worst youll get the shit beat out of you for "resisting".

Come on, you and everyone else knew exactly what he meant when he said that. It may have not been politically correct, but he got the point across.
 
By not being stupid, not taking large quantities of drugs anywhere I could get searched and by being friendly, quiet and polite when around police. And I guess it helps being female.
 
No matter how careful you are, you're always at risk of being caught. Sometimes it's a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or just bad luck. I've always been pretty careful, but I got myself several criminal convictions earlier this year after unexpectedly having a seizure while driving my car and crashing it - the cops searched it and found a bag of meth and a pipe.
