How to judge good weed from bad

It depends if you are buying schwag or hydro..

If your buying hydro, make sure its not schwag.. The main differences I can think of is that, first of all, you will be buying less of an amount. If you get a sack and theres a shitload of bud in there for 20 bucks, then it is not dro. Also, dro will be in nuggets. It will have crystals on it, and very sticky. It will have a very strong smell, more minty. Also, when you hit it, it will have a stronger kick to your lunges.

With schwag.. Make sure you weigh it. Look up prices weight.. Its differs from person to person, area to area. Generally a sack will be 7-8 grams for 20. I get 10gs but like i said Its varies. Also, make sure its in buds, not "shake". Since your new to bud ill quickly explain that shake is bud thats already broken up.. Also be on the lookout for seeds. Ive had really good dark schwag, but generally, he brighter the better. Also, look for red hairs.

good weed doesnt have seeds and its more dense and crystally it smeels and tastes better
 
Smoke it and find out? If you smoke enough of the same weed over and over you get pretty immune to it anyway.
 
First of all, you are not getting Jamacian or Thai weed, you are getting bricked weed from Mexico or at BEST (you are not) getting beasters from CA. If it's as compact as you are elluding, it's bricked mids. It can be sticky and stinky, but they appear to have no glistening THC crystals. I hope you are not paying headies prices.

Erm...we're in the UK which means that it might well be Jamaican or Thai. But yeah, it's shit, I hate Thai weed and the buzzy high you get off it. Look for big, healthy looking buds with little stick or leaf and no seeds. Check if the weed is contaminated by looking for grit or an oily/greasy wetness.

If you are tired of this slow-stupid minded high which requires copious smoking, take all your bud (lets say 1-2 ounces) and turn it into oil for brownies. Eat 2 brownies and clear your schedule.

If he's in the UK, His weed may not be from Mex or Cali. I don't pretend to be an expert on UK weed routs but he might be seeing good stuff from Europe, Asia or mideast.
