you could let it go for as long as possible, dry it out and cure everything and make some good hash out of it maybe.

i would do this and just turn the whole plant into BHO.

i mean i understand if you feel you wanna smoke it just to say you smoked your homegrown but with that plant i would just Tane that shit

or to whoever also suggested QWISO, if you prefer QWISO then do that Ason but i would just make hahs outta that plant

EDIT: actually now that i think about it more, there prob isnt alot of plant matter even on the whole plant so i would just go with the QWISO n not waste the moderatly expensive butane

also i realize it is gettin cold but leave it as long as possible those hairs are still quite white.
did you ever check the trichome gland heads with the micro scope? they sell nice small ones at radio shack for 10-15 bucks, kinda like the weed o scope advertised in hightimes but like 1/5 the cost

I harvested it because most of the hairs are amber colored and I didn't feel like waiting, I clipped off most of the stems and larger leaves, whenever its dry I'll see how much there is total when I break it up.

Im growing at the moment as well, that plant looks a little underdevelop and not too happy. You should have a look at the website www.ozstoners.com and look at the marijuana forums, everything youd ever need to know about outdoor/indoor growing. If im growing id be looking to yield maybe 2 - 3 ounces not 1 or 2 grams.

Is it your first grow? My first grow wasnt even as successfull as yours, didnt make it to harvest haha. Wait till most of the hairs have turned a nice amber colour.

i would do what someone alse said and just grow it as long as u can until ur first frost then just make the whole plant into hash. Im a pretty experience grower and im telling that that plant is NOWHERE near finish, it just started putting on pistils (the white hairs) is way to early for her to put our trichs ( the chrystals) so if u smoke it any time soon u might get a little buzz for 5 or 19 minutes but is not until a plant reaches a certain maturity that it even starts producing thc and like i said those arent even buds, just pistils. What id recommend is make it into hash, at least that way ull get high once lol; and take evrythang uve learned and put it into ur next project. Find a way u can grow a small plant indoors and go to walmart and get some spiral CFLs ( at least 4 of them 100w equivalent) and that should get u growing. if u have a walk in closet u may be able to make a small grow box and hit it in ur closet. But like i said earlier at least take the experience u gained and use it towards ur next project and next time u wanna grow outdoors plant in April or early may worst scenario. Other than that, KEEP GROWIN BUDDY!! al us growers been there and can now look back and laugh at ourselves lol

You can always go with the color of the trichomes. Harvest when most of the trichomes are milky for a slightly more heady high, wait until more are amber for a more of a body stone. Don't harvest when they are all clear, the buds aren't mature and will still produce way more cannabinoids given time. If you have a hard time seeing the trichomes or lack the correct instruments, looking at the pistils(white hairs) is also a good indicator. harvesting when the somewhere between 50-80% of the hairs are turning color (away from white, usually amber/red/orange)
