For potentiating oxycodone by inducing enzymes via smoking tobacco that metabolize it into oxymorphone,
how long does it take after smoking cigarettes for P450 2D6 to be induced?
Or am I thinking of the wrong enzymes?
From personal experience, the effects of oxycodone seem to last much much longer (12+ hours) if I have been smoking heavily (both before and during the oxycodone's effects), which would seem to indicate increased metabolism into oxymorphone
I'm just trying to figure out if I should be smoking before or after I take the oxycodone?
Perhaps one needs to be smoking for several days for significant enzyme induction
