I am currently on TRT and lifting weights 6 days a week I have been on test since october or so and it has really helped me build alot of muscle. However my diet can be sometimes rather shit. I have a bad habit of drinking way to much dr.pepper. A unhealthy amount really. Also when im drinking coffee ill always have a double double. I guess i have abit of a sweet tooth.

If i want more gains is extra protein the answer? I have been trying to eat more good protein like eggs and fish and meat lately. I used to rely on whey powder abit to much

Personally I find the health risks of soft drinks unacceptable especially if you want to live healthy. Diabetes anyone? Can't you find a diet soft drink you like? Artificial sweeteners have some bad press but IMHO the benefits clearly outweigh the risks of too much sugar. It's pretty amazing to drink as much as you like without it throwing off your calories of the day.

Yes, a high protein intake is beneficial. First I would suggest that you use a calculator to estimate your lean mass and your basal metabolic rate (BMR). This one is very accurate as opposed to others which often overestimate the BMR. Its for keto but ketarians are basically eating like bodybuilders. Just ignore the net carbs it shows. Stick to the protein. When you're finished you know how much grams of protein per day would be appropriate for optimal weight gain. The amount of meat necessary can be intimidating but you can use protein powder for shakes as well to hit your macros.

Also relevant is your caloric intake. You want to have a slight surplus of your BMR in order to efficiently gain mass, maybe a 10% surplus. Or you want to be 15-20% below your BMR during a cut. The testosterone will surely help not losing much muscle during a cut btw. For this to work properly it is strongly advised that you track your intake using a calorie tracker app, like myfitnesspal for example.

Now this might seem a bit much, especially the calorie tracking but you can simply scan the bar code with your phone, weight the amount and insert it into your food plan. If you stick to that it becomes second nature after a while and if you wanna get really fancy you can get a fitness tracker and link it to myfitnesspal for even more accurate information.

Diet plays a huge role. Deficit or surplus of calories and how are we going to achieve those calories ie What macros are web using to reach our caloric goal. TRT will help but Ferraris don’t run on fumes or garbage gasoline.

When I’m not in a specific bulking or cutting phase I cycle my carbs 2 high, 1 low, 2 high, 2 low with my workouts tailored around my diet. I maintain a true 12%-14% BF year round with that diet and low dose gear.

diet is more important than the testosterone if you want to gain muscle. foood is incredibly anabolic. if training is the car. food is the fuel test is the nitrous. without diet and training the nitrous doesn't get you a whole lot

Ya i should eat better. I dont even eat breakfast my breakfast is usually 3 cups of coffee and weed. Then i lift and have a protein shake after that which is i guess brunch for me lol.

I really need to cut down on the dr.pepper. I think im kind of addicted to them i love dr.pepper so much

My personal ( as someone who has competed in the " classic " definition) a good diet between cycles and just being on maintenance of 200mg test cyp back then diet was key what I kept or gained post cycle or shows. Whether it was quality gains or 90% shit. Or loss of muscle mass. So I would say diet does play a key role in your goals that is.
