How do I weigh bud without using the special made to weigh bud scale?

? I had it with getting ripped off. Is there some way I can weigh bud without buying a 35$ little bud scale . It would be a waste if I bought one if I don't deal. Thanks

why would you spend $35 on a scale...did you know you can get like $15 scales... if your too cheap for a digi then get one of those $5 postal scales

ya you don't have to get a "made for bud" scale... A simple $5 scale will do. One that only measures in grams isn't very expensive, although if you want it to be more accurate be prepared to spend more money. Also with more experience you'll be able to eye up a gram or an eigth of bud pretty easily, although never exact but you know what i mean..

I used to have a Chinese Medicine peddler's little hand scale, with one pan on a chain, and a sliding weight on a stick. 40 New Taiwan Dollars = US$ a buck and change.

Technically a balance is not THAT hard of a thing to make yourself. I have a couple ways I could think of to do this. Scales are things people have needed and used for a long time -- they can get quite lo-tech.

Fish scale = Only good if you or a friend has one
Borrow it = YaY for friends, hopefully one has one
Buy a scale and return itt= Free, but pain in the ass

Try a smoke shop or a headshop or whatever they call it in canada

I dont deal but i invested £20 in some digital scales. I'd say it was well worth it. People are less likely to try and rip you off if they know your gonna weigh it.

There are also plently of convience stores that sell them too. Ask for letter scales. Usually, if a convinence store has a bunch of smoking paraphernalia, blunts and wraps, they'll have letter scales. You won't find them in big stores like Target and Wal-Mart.
