i found that ever since i started raving my tastes seemed to lean more towards trance then heavy metal/alternative(what i used to be REALLY into). its all about what makes you feel good, and trips you out when your rolling.

7)indie rock(its a whole scene of its own)
8)people like lisa loeb, jewel... not sure what category that fits in
