US Politics How deep is the state (the deep state)

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. sums up the thread so far.
You might find more willingness and openness if you were less cynical and more collaborative. I don't inherently disagree with many of your points, and I find your conclusions to be misguided or ill-informed at times. Still, I think we agree on more than we disagree on. I think that's actually the benefit of this thread and this forum.

I'm here to help. pointing out some characteristics.
Because the looming economic crisis, collapse of a dollar. could have been prevented and avoided.
And you can prepare for it. knowing that gold is money and is a better store of value than a dollar.
However I find that most will just complain and blame somebody for it rather than seeing how to prepare.

That's why the articles on mises.org are helpful in understanding what's about to unfold. I see a lot of the very same traits of a deep state in the current bluelight staff. Meaning lies, secrets, and coverups.

This map suggests to me that places with access to affordable health care and the public infrastructure necessary to provide it have better health outcomes than places with poorer health coverage options/difficulty with access.

What stops private interests from disinvesting in covering your community wherever you live @ions ?

We are volunteers who are here to help keep the site running. We gain no power or authority from our roles - we just keep this place running so that you can post/comment/socialize. We need one another. I don't criticize you, why must you focus on criticizing me?

The medical industrial complex overstresses the importance of seeing your doctor and taking pills to correct the metrics recorded. i.e. blood pressure, cholesterol. These meds are petroleum derived whereas before let's say the 20s which rockefeller bought oil, medicine was holistic, mostly plant derived. Then they outlawed a lot of those meds like cannabis. I think you should be your own doctor to the point you have to outsource something. Using intoxicants rather than pharmaceuticals. It's less of a cancer. The brand of medicine i practice is not in accordance with modern medicine. But is far better than anything you can get at the pharmacy. So to answer, i am my own private doctor. and advise my friends, clients, patients, that its ok to lead a life similar.

I'm criticizing because I'm trying to help. So you don't get swept under the rug WSHTF. @tryptakid
Chin up tho. It's not that I won't help WSHTF. It's just that the price tag went up.

In the 1920s, the life expectancy in the United States was around 53.6 years for men and 54.6 years for women.

it's prepper code for When Shit Hits the Fan. I.e. the looming economic collapse.
I see - this is where you and I diverge. I don't anticipate any economic collapse in the way that you do. 2008 again? Absolutely possible. Bunker time? Probably not. While you're busy preparing for the race/culture/chemical/medical/deep state war on you, I'm trying to maintain the here and now and build for a better tomorrow. That's the difference - you are sewing the seeds of your own extinction by living in fear.

It's the old metaphor: 'Soothsayer predicts that the year to come will bring famine and starvation - farmer hears this and decides to prepare for this by spending their time building a shelter to weather the onslaught instead of planting crops - The following season comes and there are no crops to reap and the farmer and his community die of starvation'

I'm not prepared to say there's any value in pharmaceutical medicines. Besides let's say antibiotics. which started derived from mold.
The state wants compliance rather than free expression.
there's much more value in the drugs that the state denies us of. It's political not science backed.
They're afraid we might question their indoctrination. And unless you comply, you get cancelled, or worse.

I don't disagree with you - I think there has been a concerted effort to stigmatize medications that uplift (psychedelic plant medicine) while a focus on medications that control and cause dependence - see Purdu Pharma.

Almost every drug known to man is plant-based in origin. The amazon holds the deepest pharmacopoeia imaginable and we are burning it down to build more cow pastures for McDonalds.

There are a lot of ways to make money other than a 9-5.
The schools teach you to fall into this system and become a machine.
You can easily make bank through the ideas of Austrian economics.

An example of benzodiazepines are something completely synthetic that resemble no other molecules in human biochemistry. They are the industry standard for stress disorders. Whereas cannabinoids are gods gift to us and can protect from cancers like that. Largely greed fueled. It costs pennies to produce a dose of cannabis. And the money driven process of expensive drugs maintains dominance.

History repeats itself.
Absolutely. Are you familiar with the works of Julian Jaynes and the origins of modern consciousness from the breakdown of the bicameral mind?

Have you looked into the ways in which that breakdown during the late bronze age resulted in social collapse - people thought that their gods had abandoned them because they were becoming self-aware and introspective. That breakdown was preceded via cultural contact and the use of metaphor to share ideas - rewiring our primitive pre-modern brains from one of command hallucinations from a god (our right brain) to our acting brain (left brain) into the synergistic mind that we know today. The echoes of this premodern mind may be found in those experiencing schizophrenia-like disorders - commanded by hallucinations rather than introspection and volition.

It is even said by some that meso-Americans may have been a highly evolved form of old-minded humans whose brains had developed into a magical consciousness rather than an rational consciousness. Where old world civilizations evolved to use science and rationality to understand existence; new world civilizations communed directly with the cosmos and understood its inner workings through their active relationship with their gods and cosmological forces.

See, psychedelics make it ok to be bored. you are content with being. Whereas without them, you drift into consumerism.
You might be surprised with how little I spend to get through the day. When you can spend a lot less and be happy at the same time, this is what the state doesn't like. They want you to buy buy buy. Which also leads to people using sex as a drug. When there are drugs as drugs.
