Forget about the things you need to do that you feel unable to and pick a couple of small self care items you know you can definitely manage (make bed/do laundry/half hour tidying flat/organise one drawer/clean teeth) make them as small as they need to be to know you can complete them. Doesn’t matter what they are. Do them every day without fail.

When they become second nature try adding in something slightly bigger, do that every day without fail also. When that becomes second nature add in another thing slightly bigger. Do that every day without fail.

Continue in this pattern and before long you will be moving forward and eventually a positive feedback loop will form and you’ll be starting to size up those bigger things that will really make a change to your life.
