Hey guys, back here again :/ where to begin ok I have been an heroin addict since eh mostly 2013, I have always been teetering on the edge between managing my life and my addiction so far I have been lucky enough to hide my addiction from mostly EVERYONE my daily habit never eclipsed 0.2g a day apart from some binges at weekend ect. However I do feel I have nobody to turn to hence why I am here. Ok I managed to acquire some 90 mg oral solution of methadone and divided it up by 30 mg for 3 days, ok that went well apart from serious cravings. I am now on day 4 and I have around 90 pills of dihydrocodeine 30mg, I plan on taking around 3-5 daily depending on how I feel, right now on day 4 I have woken up I feel like my arse is gonna collapse (shit myself) lol nah just stomach cramps hot and cold flashes cravings plus the shits. Anyway it is now an hour on and I have taken 60mg dihydrocodeine and I feel fine now, my question is how much longer will I experience withdrawal for? I was thinking 2 weeks max for acute and around 4 weeks to 3 months for PAWS. What should I be expecting?? I really cant be assed with this fucking shit anymore that's why I'm quitting don't wanna be sick don't wanna be constantly bored and have no money. Thanks for all who read

If you are constantly taking the dhc to feel fine, you will be back to the start of the detox when they run out.

Set yourself a plan of a taper with the meds you've got so you are taking enough to not feel awful but still feeling a little pain. When I was in rehab I did an eight day taper on DHC 30mg from a gram a day IV smack and it was really bearable. For each day it went (taking in to account dosing four times a day):

It worked well for me but I had someone controlling the meds and handing them out at certain times so I couldn't cheat, if you have someone who can do this for you it will be a big help. See also:

In the UK we use lofexodine instead of clonodine so it might be worth considering that if you are in a country that uses it.

Hey liquidex would love to know your going? Iv been using herion and fentanyl everyday since 2012, until recently im now up to day 8 with no h or fentanyl, i used soboxone 8mg the first day, then 6mg then 4mg then swapped to methadone 80mgs then down 50mg. And the last couple of days just been using 30ml codeine at night and suffering through days but the pain eases every day, i think i have actually beat it this time, iv tried to get off it many times before tapering down is the only way to do it and jump off everything as soon as you can.
