Looks like you maybe hit an artery?

Have no further experience with that..

Go to the hospital and have it checked by a doctor to prevent any complications from occuring.

The "rash" has gone away it feels fine now i don't understand the blood was the right color and it didnt hurt untill after i think its ok now it just scared the shit out of me when ithappened thanks for the advice though

Maybe it is unrelated to the actual injection..Looks like I do with hives. Did your arm come in contact with any material that could cause an allergic reaction?

It looks like a histamine reaction to me.

There might have been a impurity in the cut that you had an allergic reaction too.

Do you have any allergies?

Did you hit a artery?

How is the pulses to your fingers?

Check your capillairy refill in your nail bed. Push on the nail. Count the seconds. If it is Greater than 3 seconds watch it carefully. That means you have pressure on the blood supply to the hand. I see you have had surgery on that had. Watch it closely.

If it dosent feel right get it looked at by professionals.

If it gets worst get medical treatment.

It's happened to me a few times. It's from injecting into a blood vessel other than the viens and it causes a histamine reaction usually the full length of the arm. The hand and forearm will swell up, there will be a burning itch, and you will get blotches and a rash. You may not be able to clench your fingers or make a fist. It's happened a total of four times to me in seven years of my run with heroin. The first time it happened I thought I was going to die but my friend at the time I used to be a registered nurse and assured me I would live.

The way to avoid it is to make sure the syringe fills up with a good amount of blood when you pull back. When you are in a blood vessel, the blood will come into the syringe weakly and will be suspended in the barrel like a drop of red food coloring. If you hit an artery, the plunger will usually be pushed back from blood pressure.

Anytime it happens simply take some benadryl and apply an antihistamine cream to your arm and avoid injecting in that arm for 24 hours. Don't make a habit of it though because I don't know the negative effect of constantly doing it.

I'm thinking the same, or that it's some kind of allergic reaction. Guido could certainly be right too, so take all the necessairy precautions. I've mainlined heroin before, was sure I was in a vein ( I used the same two veins for two years...please learn from that mistake), and experienced a burning, pins and needles sensation, followed by a nasty rash. I've once (and this sounds real grimey, broken out in boils.) I am almost 100% certain this had to do with the cut, as I talked to other customers of the same connection who experienced similar reactions.

However, I also struck a nerve before and experienced similar results, though they were slightly different. It felt litterally like a ball of fire was running down my arms to the tips of my fingers. This was followed by a temporary lack of mobility in my hand (scared the shit out of me as it was my drawing hand to boot) and some strange marks/patterns along the inside of my arm, as well as a lump on the back of my arm (which was confusing as it was no where near the injection site). After ten minutes I could use my hand again, though there was some lingering numbness, though that eventually faded too. I honestly thought I had hit an artery (as the burn shot down my arm, away from my heart), but after talking to the nurses at my clinic, they led me to believe i had hit a nerve due to the lack of swelling. It was a real wake up call for me.

IMO, if the problem persists without any signs of going down after using antihistamine's, see a medical proffesional. It's humiliating, I know, but it beats the terror and paranoia of fearing you could lose your arm/hand.

everytime my friends IV;s he gets little reactions like this. he doesnt seem to be worried as he has been shooting for like 3 years. But, each person is different. Hope your ok my dude..dont want anyone to loose a hand or some shit.
