I am new and I have a basic question, my doctor prescribed me 15 mg in the morning of oxycodone (IR) and 15 mg at night of oxycodone (IR) he also prescribed me morphine sulfate (ER) 15 mg twice a day one every 12 hours. My question is if I was to do one or the other which one is easier to withdraw from when it comes time to quit? Would the withdrawals be less from stopping the two doses of oxycodone a day, or would the withdrawals be worse from withdrawing from the two morphine doses a day? Right now I'm only doing the oxycodone twice a day but considering changing over to only doing the morphine twice a day if when it comes time to quit that would be easier to withdraw from. I'm not an expert but I'm thinking it would be easier to withdrawal from the extended release morphine then the oxycodone, would I be correct?

Actually you're not having two drug withdrawals you're having withdrawal from one class of drugs opiates doesn't matter if you took 5 different opiates all the same withdrawal neither will be easier to the extent that it's worth choosing one over the other to quit both are gonna suck horribly. I'd choose morphine cause it's the standard opiate for calculating and converting doses and just easier to work with and more experience amongst people . Id get the list of side drugs to help you stop opiates clonodine, benzos, ibuprofen , etc. hope I helped if u have any thing specific to ask go for it
