This is my first post, so I apologize if it is in the wrong place. So I was an IV heroin user for three years. This past July I began suboxone treatment. At first I took it correctly, but after being on it maybe three weeks I began shooting it. (not using micron filters either as I just haven't had the cash to invest in these, sterile vials and bacteriostatic water) After this I quickly began having trouble finding veins, even though I always rotate my injection sites. After a month or so I was forced to go back to sublingual use in an effort to save what veins I had left. Around October I switched to zubsolv and began shooting it aswell. I can get a vein no problem as my small break allowed a good portion of the damage I had done to myself with the sub strips to be undone, but I am finding myself going through my meds quickly each week to the point in having to make 2 pills last me my last 4 days til I see my doc every week. I was hoping some of you may have some information or tips on breaking the habit of the needle itself. I thank you all in advance for any information you can provide.
