Okay I got kratom and I was wondering would kratom ease lyrica withdrawals? When I ran out of lyrica in the past tramadol helped. I haven't ran out yet but I'm trying to cover all my bases. I just know the hell of Gabapentin and pregabalin withdrawal and it makes me feel like I'm losing my marbles. I know kratom isn't very trustworthy on the subject since I have googled and couldn't find anything on it. So any good news anyone has?

I seem to run out every month. I am prescribed 90 of the 150mg capsules and am to take three a day. But as I said I usually run out a week or so early. I do not seem to really notice it though but I also take morphine, tramadol, and 10/325 percocet. These drugs may mask the wds, don't know for sure though, and the funny thing is that I use these medications as prescribed LOL! Another drug I use is baclofen. This may be a drug that helps stave off wds for me, but again I do not know with any certainty. If anyone can answer that I sute would to know!

Enough about me though. I used kratom to get off of tramadol and it's SSNI (?) effects. It worked like a charm and my habit at the time was around 25-30 pills a day. I do not think it could hurt anything to try kratom, but I am just guessing. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will see this and weigh in with a response.

Baclofen and gabapentin will help your w/ds or rather, mask them. Ditto low dose benzos but I would be very careful going down this route. But bear it in mind if you have really tough moments.

The best thing to do, is take magnesium supplements, as well a Vit B complex as pregabalin depletes the body of both of these. Also exercise, exercise, exercise! I know you wont feel like doing so, but the endogenous opioids produced (endorphins) will really help you get through this. Fnally, eat a well balanced diet and try to sleep, which I know can be almost impossible. Also tell yourself that this is temporary and it will pass.

Another good idea, is to TAPER DOWN the dose of lyrica so you dont need to go through WDs.

I dont know about kratom so decided to give you general advice. lol.

Kratom could make your anxiety worse depending on how sensitive you are to it's stimulant qualities.
