what should i ask my doctor to combat the shaking
i was thinking clonazepam
any suggestions

try supplements with 400mg of magnesium every night :)
if you can, get something other than magnesium oxide because it has the lowest bioavailbility.
ime magnesium citrate works pretty well.

Vitamin B12, magnesium, and less amphetamine is my suggestion. The shaking is due to the impact of amphetamine on dopamine and this could eventually lead to Parkinson's like symptoms, Parkinson's, or other brain disorders. Even if it doesn't get to that level for you it is good to be cognizant of the impact that you are having on your body. An interesting note, people who take amphetamine for weight-loss problems do not seem to have this impact which suggests that lower doses avoid this problem. As is the case with all drugs, side-effects are largely dose dependent.

The only thing I've found that works for amphetamine anxiety is benzos; I've used either alprazolam or clonazepam but I prefer alprazolam. . But adding one extra drug to deal with the side effects of a different drug is not necessarily "optimal" if it's something you're going to be doing every day. I've used low doses of benzo for a couple of months or so daily without having too much difficulty stopping after, but if you are looking for something long-term it may be more difficult to stop the benzos if you decide to get off the medications especially if you start to raise doses with tolerance. That aside, amphetamine with benzos is an extremely effective combination in my experience.

Magnesium seems to help some but I've never noticed any difference with it for either anxiety or jaw clenching.
