8( I look after my dad full time, I have moved in with him and three cats! I prefer living here as where I lived before was just depressing, eurgh it was awful. I cant use my arms, I've messed up my groin but to be fair my poor groin lasted a long time, I'm smoking it, my aunt has caught me, my sister has caught me but I actually feel better that my sister knows, she's due a baby around 15th Dec, my birthday is the 16th Dec and I want to be a good aunt to my niece. It's just that I have to go the shops for my dad, clean 3 cat boxes which I HATE doing, clean the house, sweep the carpet because he wants to buy a £300 dyson and is putting money away for that, I have to run up and down stairs getting things for him and the rest! I also need to see my own kids, my family, a birthday is coming soon so how do I do a quick withdrawal? I've done it before and every time it's harder to do, I know what to expect and it scares me senseless. With the help of my sister, and maybe aunt (but I think she's fallen out with me over an unrelated event) that I will be able to do it. If I could get some suboxone it would help greatly, yes i'll be very poorly but it shortens the withdrawal time as I've done it before, but if I can't get any (more likely) is there anything that will help rid my receptors of opiates?
If anyone could help or just give me positive remarks it would help so much!

Hi! unfortunately there is no "fast" withdrawal, there is threads that have different options for withdrawal. There is rapid detox which will get the hard painful physical withdrawal done faster, but requires a doctor. The physical part will last longer. But it can be done! If others can do it, so can you! Its tough, you just gotta stick it out. Good luck!

I'm at least going to a detox place maybe inpatient too. That way I have a wonderful doctors note to take with me....also, they can help you there with meds and a different environment may help the head part..... It did for me last time....

Sometimes I find I gotta bite the bullet and take care of me first before I can take care of anyone else.... Good luck

i never tried it but its undisputed that Imodium the anti diarrhea med is an opioid that does not pass the blood brain barrier, so while it doesn't get you high, it will relieve withdrawal.

Yea I agree with this. Also my advice would be to ask this question in The Dark Side or ask a mod to move this thread there for you - ypu are more than likely to receive more responses that way. NMI is just to welcome new members to the site.

Best of luck.
