So I read on here that it is indeed possible to have a heart attack in everyday life, but have it be so mild it is unnoticeable or at least only causes slight symptoms. I am wondering if I experienced one or not the other night. mmm about day 2 starting day 3 of a weekend meth 'binge,' i became insanely uncomfortable a few hours after railin some shit(hot rails) and couldnt really sit still in a sense where my whole body would kind of ache and id have to move around a lot or else my breathing kinda labored and my body would hurt in certain areas at a time.

Usually when i tweak i get kind of shaky but i definetly just sit down and enjoy it most of the time rather then be the talkative cant-stop-moving stereotype. Then my pounding chest subsided, and i thought ok cool im coming down. But when i checked for my heart beat it couldnt feel anything whatsoever anywhere in my chest or mypulse. So after a fe seconds i sorta started to panic and i got very light headed. after about 5 seconds i sat up and my vision was fading slightly. Then like a gunshot my heart smashed into my chest and was pounding harder and faster than I have ever seen it. Literally moving my whole shirt with every beat.

Iv been smoking weed for about 3 years and iv been doing thizz coke lucy shrooms pretty much anything i could find for about 2, which is usually a weekend thing iv never had an addiction problem or anything close with anything except with weed and ciggss which is every day for a long time haha.

I am guilty of some abuse tho when i went thru my 'phase' with each drug i liked, mostly uppers and psychs. I started meth probably about a year ago but i dont do it very often at all. Maybe monthly theres a 3 day binge in there sometimes a cpl times a month sometimes i miss a cpl months. so do you guys think i had a heart attack?

I have no idea, but just the possibility of having a heart attack means you should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

Please, it's better safe than sorry, you've only got one heart.

Medically, I believe it is possible to experience a heart attack, but have it be so mild as to where it wouldn't put you in critical condition. I have heard anecdotal stories of people experience heart pain and then going to the doctor later on, and learning they did indeed have a mild heart attack in the past.

But, we are not doctors on bluelight. We cannot accurately diagnose any medical problems you may have potentially encountered. My best advice is, if you feel your heart has experience any kind of damage, go to the hospital. It's pretty plain and simple. You don't even need to say you were on a meth binge. At the hospital they can check your blood and see if it has elevated levels of the certain things which would appear during a heart attack. (I forget the proper terms, another mod can correct me).

My personal opinion is, you may possibly experienced a heart attack, but I feel it is more likely that during your 'binge', you just elevated your heart rate to a high level, and the accompanying anxiety made you freak out. I too get this on stimulants sometimes, if I do too much too fast I feel like my heart is going to explode, not beating properly, whole body feels fucked up, and extreme anxiety.

I'm gonna close this, since there isn't much we can tell you, other than go get it checked out. All you have to lose by not getting it checked out, is your life. Chances are you are fine, but then again there is a chance you are not fine. Go get it checked out. Don't make me say it again.

Obviously we all hope you are okay, but unfortunately cannot assuredly tell you one way or another.

If you have any questions, or do end up going to the hospital and get the results, PM me and I will re-open this so you can post what ended up happening. In the mean time, lay off the meth, and PLEASE go get it checked out if you feel it is a problem.

^I just wanted to affirm what BDP said, this happens ALL the time. People have heart attacks, experience some angina (or other symptoms) but don't get checked out and then discover at a later time (usually when they have a second, more serious heart attack) that they had previously had one.

Get yourself checked out. Your lifestyle right now (coke, meth, cigarettes, etc) is putting you at a greatly elevated risk for a heart attack. People think "I'm young, I can't have a heart attack" but it happens all the time, especially with those lifestyle risk factors.
