Mental Health Have you benefited from pharmaceuticals or vitamins or supplements? MENTAL HEALTH

There are plenty of harmful naturals, ones that are even toxic and lethal....surely there is an abundance if not an even greater amount of dangerous naturals as there are synthetics.

the point i was trying to make however was that we have a greater understanding and knowledge of naturals over time than we do of synthetics

e.g. who knows how GMO crops will effect this generation etc

sure, there are plenty of natural things which are harmful but as long as you are knowledgeable you arent going to start supplementing with poison ivy because its 'natural'

Krill oil/fish oil, a very strong b complex, dhea, ginko bilboa, korean ginseng and 5 htp.

back when I was really healthy I consistently dosed all of those everyday some times twice a day. I felt absolutely great. My mood was stabalized if not improved and
my energy and cognitive function was wayy up.
I've never felt so clear headed and so capable of speaking exactly what I wanted to say. I work in a place where we constantly are ineracting with people and I attend college so it was easily noticable the improvements.

O and maeng da kratom was just iceing on the cake. :)

5 htp, super b complex, vitamin D, vitamin C.

I've found success in all of those. It may sound like a lot, but IMO it's worth it. :)

Effexor *puts on flame suit* its allowed me to function socially again.Just had my dose upped from 75mg to 150mg (the next dose im told) and also have stopped smoking weed and i feel great.Everyday i wakeup with a happy glow :D

How long did this take to work on you?

I've tried what seems like every SSRI so that's why my doctor switched me to a SNRI, to see if I have more success with that. I find it has increased my anxiety a bit because I've been using more of my xanax. She decided to increased my dosage to 2 37.5mg/day to see if that reduces my anxiety but I'm still not seeing or feeling it.

I was on my initial dose of 37.5mg 1x day for 6 weeks; and I've been on 37.5mg 2x day for about 4 weeks.

I don't believe I benefited from any supplement despite questionable promises.

Pharmaceuticals have had mixed results. 5mg Xanax to get through each day prevents panic attacks but still constant anxiety.

Adderall has helped a lot with concentration and motivation but makes anxiety worse. The effects seem to be very sensitive to the dose with even a bit too much making symptoms worse.
