Has Political Correctness Gone Mad?

i think it goes both ways invegauser.

i'm told i'm a snowflake liberal cuck and i think that having to order a "coffee without milk" rather than a "black coffee" is, indeed, political correctness gone mad. but when people throw that term out when they're being prevented from posting homophobic, racist or anti-semitic vitriol on a private site, well, i have a little less sympathy for that. i don't think they're the same thing.

Homophobic, racist, anti-semitism are all Trotsky invented concepts, who happened to enjoy mass murder on the industrial level.

nonsense.

the history of anti-semitism can be traced back at least 2000 years and continued through the middle ages.

Why did people dislike the Jews throughout history? Genuinely curious.

And do you reject the Bolshevik holocaust, and the crimes of Mao, Pol Pot etc or does only the Nazi genocide count?

Not a Nazi fan at all, I like less government, not totalitarian systems involving industrial killing (like every communist country.)

@zephyr: kids in public school here are not allowed to bring valentines day cards unless they have one for everyone as it is mandatory in quiet a few schools. thinking of you on a special day means you have to love everyone now; seems reminiscent of ugly times in human history. participation trophies 24/7.

don't get me started on those who go out of their way to show they hate smoking/smokers. i will crash this site with posts.

@alasdairm: always pointing out where i missed something. thanks :\ and agreed.

being objective and thinking for yourself seems to be the new snowflake liberal cuck. thinking will be outlawed soon, enjoy it while it lasts. (sarcasm)

Yes, political correctness has gone mad.

But, to be fair, the antipc types have too. To the point where they sometimes seem more triggered by trigger warnings than the people they're supposed to help. We need trigger warning trigger warnings.

The lesson? People suck and always wind up taking a good idea too far.

Or perhaps it's just that a lot of people take things too far and are the loudest most obnoxious people in the world so it looks like everyone.

ah, i see. this is what is meant by use of the word polarized.

haha, if i was most other people i might take it as your angry but it's funny cause it's true.
