well last year i was introduced to Oxycontin (dont do it anymore, cant even stand the sight of them) by an ex-friend. He still lives with his parents and well, his step mom takes oxycontin for "pain" but we all know she is just addicted to them. Well me n him were messing around one day and he would slang his step mom's oxy to other people he knew. He told me this when i asked how he always seemed to have ALOT of money. He also sold cheaply, i mean, 40mg Oxy for only $10 a pill! He said he did it like this cuz theres always a shitload in the house. Well he showed me one and said he never did it himself and wondered how it felt but didnt wanna take it and he dared me to. I said only if you do n he said "ill give you $20 for just you to do it hahaha" i said fuck it haha
hour n half later n feeling nothing at all, we did strip off the time release. I stand up n fall down hard. it hit me gooooood haha well anyways for the next few months he was supplying me them for FREE, never ever charged me. Dont know why, maybe just cuz we were very close friends. Well anyways, of course addiction took me by the hand, but weirdest thing haha i used them for sleep, rarely for fun. But tolerance is a bitch. Eventually it took 160mgs+ for any effect. When i noticed this, i said fuck this, im done with these and simply stopped cold turkey and had absolutely no Withdrawl at all. not one symptom. i thought i got off lucky. Till about 4 months after i stop using em he offered me one cuz i had hurt my ankle very badly n it was in lots of pain. Well i said okay then but cut it in half n only took around 20mg. Well you know, same old buzz n pain killing but once it wore off....oh jesus, withdawl happened right there and then man, but oddly enough, only went through it for 1 day
what im confused about is why that happened?
i had used them for about 4 months straight almost every day ( i used to cut the pills in half to make em last longer i.e only would take halves) and stopped cold and didnt get withdrawl till i used half a pill about 4 months later n even then only for a day
why did this happen? o.o
