Gun Pulled & Man Maced As Neo-Nazi Protestors Surround Family Drag Storytime Event

Jesus man….that’s super fucked up and I feel really bad for that little girl….let me know how she’s functioning in life when she hits 30….and not trying to be a dick xork, but doesn’t your girl have some issues she’s been trying to work out for a while ?

Yes, she does, as do most of us. Are you saying that the only reason she attends nudist 4th of July gatherings in a hippie community is because she has problems? I don't get it.

I visited France as a teenager. Nude beaches everywhere. Nobody gave two shits, there were signs letting people know they were entering a nude beach, in case people weren't comfortable with it, but there were families there. They've been doing that since WAY before this current obsession with pedophilia. I'm fairly sure that if nudity hadn't been made to seem shameful to me as a kid, and instead I'd been around it my whole life, it would have had a positive effect on my development and self-confidence. Of course it's a what-if, I can't say that for certain. But it opened my eyes to a bigger world, where in some places, nudity isn't taboo or something to be embarrassed about or ashamed of.

I 100% agree that pedophiles are out there, that it's a serious problem, and that they prey on children every day. But I don't agree that kids seeing public nudity is inherently scarring or damaging to them... unless their parents tell them it is, or god forbid, scare the shit out of them by making them feel that some guy at a nudist festival is attacking them because he doesn't have clothes on.

Would I judge someone for not bringing their kid to a nudist event? Fuck no, that's your right. I even get it. But I equally wouldn't judge someone FOR bringing their kid to a nudist event. Those things, again, have been happening FAR before this current era of hyper-pedo-focus. How many people have you ever heard come forward that were the children of hippies from the 60s, saying that seeing pee-pees and vaginas when they were kids scarred them for life?

For the 4th time I'm gonna ask you top stop already. Off topic posts are being deleted........not just yours.

I asked 3 times yesterday and now once more today. Go post on another thread or lose the ability to post for a couple of days.

I shouldn't have to ask 4 times so unless you stop I'm going to assume you don't care about anybody's opinion but your own.

Hey @Nurse Ratched

I don't want to derail the thread more, but it'd be nice to have a chance to defend my position considering the amount of nasty comments directed at me and my parenting style.

If you don't want me to post my response here, can we split the thread into a "Is (Adult) Nudity Bad For Children" thread or something?

Thanks.

We will keep this thread about the family drag story time and the neo nazis but you are welcome to make another thread about is " is nudity bad for ONES OWN children." Nudity around children is too broad and your experience is with your own child. So if you want to make a thread like " What are your opinions on Parents being nude around their children " that's fine. But that kind of thread doesn't belong in CEP or The Dive so it would have to be in a different sub forum. Go for it.

You’re trying to get blood out of a stone, she will just delete anything she doesn’t agree with. They gave up on allowing competing opinions here years ago.

For what’s it’s worth I certainly don’t think children seeing nudity is going to harm them. On the other hand a drag show is an inherently sexual performance and should have nothing to do with children. Absolutely nothing wrong with it amongst consenting adults, but the people trying to mix kids up in it are nothing more than peadophiles/groomers. Why would you possibly want to dedicate your time to forcing that stuff on kids? What can you possibly be getting out of that other than a sexual thrill?

Go blow bubbles oh nasty one. And your accusations that i delete things that I don't agree with are without merit.

You just don't like it when I chase you out of TDS for telling people to quit whining and man up instead of actually trying to help them.

@THECATINTHEHAT

Seems to me like LVG was the one outraged by other people's opinions.

Ratched didn't delete any of my posts because I didn't ad-hom anyone.

Literally nobody on this thread has suggested that we should be forcing inherently sexual performances on children.

Wut? I have never said anything of the sort and never would. You’re living in a total fantasy world woman. Give a solitary example…

This is precisely my point, you just get butthurt over points of view that you don’t agree with and then delete them and create strawman arguments as to why everyone else is wrong.

You haven’t chased me out of anywhere, I was here long before you were and I will be here long afterwards.

Did I say they had?

No and (technically) I didn't say you said they had.

Plenty of people have suggested that it’s not an issue for people to do it though. Loads.

Hold on. What?
Seems like you're saying it now.

Nobody has suggested that it's a non-issue to force inherently sexual performances on children.

Those are your words. Prove me wrong. Quote somebody saying that is okay.

There are lots of people saying or suggesting that it’s not an issue to take kids to a drag performance (the op for a kickoff). A drag performance is inherently sexual.

@THECATINTHEHAT

I don't think anyone on this thread has said it's okay to take kids to an adult drag show.

People have said that it's okay to take children to drag queen story time shows or whatever they're called, assuming that they're non sexual.

If there's no such thing as a non-sexual drag story time show, I'm not sure what you disagree with?

I said:

ITT: everyone agrees.

I think you might need to calm down and have another go at that last post.

There’s no such thing as a non-sexual drag show.

Clearly.

Re-read and try again and you might understand (which you’re not at the moment).

I’ve made it pretty obvious that I’m disagreeing with the idea that there is such a thing as a non-sexual drag performance. Not sure how you can fail to understand this.
