This summer i kind of want to try to grow. I don't have a house i live with my parents but me and my friends drive to these woods alot. Once one of the first times we smoked there was a seed and we stuck it in the ground. It didn't grow i don't think. We live in Indiana and i was wondering if we could be able to grow in the woods. No one goes back there and how hard would it be?

Not that hard, it is a "weed." Biggest problem is obviously someone finding and destroying your plant once it has started flowering. So just put it somewhere that people won't be.. Seriously, NO people, since I think most people would take down a weed plant they found in the forest (either to smoke or destroy)

That's probably true, but I have to chime in with my own personal experience. When I used to do guerrilla grows outdoors I was found out a grand total of three times (all times I was physically present, tending to my plants). Two of the times the people blatantly saw the plants but just said something along the lines of 'hi, lovely day isn't it?'. The third time I seem to recall the guy actually said 'wow, your plants look great, you must be a great grower - well done mate'. All three times my plants were flowering and were left for me to grow out and enjoy.

So, perhaps attitudes are changing, but not everyone will steal from you or turn you in, although ripping is a BIG problem and it's nothing to get complacent about, I agree. The ripper pest is more of a threat than other pests such as green fly and even cops. The only other two next biggest threats are deer and rabbits (if you're protection isn't good enough).

Start planning for your grow now so you can plant your seeds in March.

Your place should be isolated where nobody goes and most importantly, it should be exposed enough to get a lot of sunlight, with no trees blocking the light. Start scouting out for spots and keep going and going and going on until you find the ideal spot. Last year it took me three months to find my ideal spot but I got it in the end.
