Greenlighter
I've been a lurker on this site for years but I figured I'd take sometime to share the results of an experiment I conducted on myself the other night.
I've been making and enjoying Green Dragon for years. To me, the euphoria and body load is similar in some ways to Mushrooms and the mental clarity and empathy I obtain from the experience reminds me a little of MDMA (molly). One of the things I enjoy the most about Green Dragon is that its effects are consistent and predictable, I know what to expect and how to direct the experience. Mushrooms, on the other hand, can take me to places and emotional states I'm not always ready for and that can be a double edged sword; moreover, the extreme highs and lows from MDMA make me feel out of control and uneasy at times during my roll. Another thing I like about GD is that when it's over, I am always left with a positive afterglow- not as strong as from a good mushroom trip, but nowhere remotely close to nasty depression/anxiety from MDMA that can last a while.
At any rate, I have always been curious as to what it would be like to combine Green Dragon and mushrooms. For me, MDMA's effects are always clouded when I smoke a lot of pot; conversely, THC greatly enhances my trips. So, being the curious guy I am, I decided to eat an eighth of shrooms and pound a shot of Green Dragon shortly afterwords to see what the experience would be like.
I could write a lengthy, detailed trip report, but I think people would gain more by trying this for themselves. It was, by far, one of the most visually astounding and spiritually awakening experiences I have ever had. As I began to peak I felt as though I were listening to a live symphony while the Northern Lights spiraled around my dark room- I felt like I was blasted into another universe, but in a lucid and directed manner. A lot of times when I'm tripping I feel like I'm being dragged and thrown around by a force greater than I'm capable of understanding. This was not the case at all during my trip, in fact, it was like it was the other way around: I was dictating the direction and outcome of my trip, working on issues and exploring ideas I'd been too hesitant to explore.
I won't write on and on about it, but I'm curious if anyone has tried this amazing combination.
