How many warnings do you think you’re going to get, and how many warnings do you deserve? This hurricane that is coming thorough the East Coast, for anyone who’s in the East Coast and has been listening to me say ‘Food storage!’ ‘Be prepared!’

… If you’ve waited, this hurricane is a blessing. It is a blessing. It is God reminding you — as was the earthquake last week — it’s God reminding you you’re not in control. Things can happen. Be prepared and be someone who can help others so when disaster strikes, God forbid, you’re not panicking.

- Full story.

I'm not sure how potentially costly evacuations, missed work, and property damage is a "blessing" to poor people.

Why do you Americans pay so attention to these obviously nutty people? Beck was actually here in Jerusalem last week to hold a rally, something about restoring something, I don't know. The point is, this guy is no more insightful nor helpful than the next doomsday reverent, so why treat him any different?

I guess a hurricane is a blessing to anyone in the food storage/survival gear business.

you guys sure get hung up on what words he used n totally miss what he is saying.
personally, we are thankful for our own misfortunes n disasters, as they have made us stronger as life progresses.
Glenn is just showing a correlation between the two.
Sure the tornado that ripped through Joplin was a tragedy, but out of that tragedy we saw a soul warming beauty come out of that by human beings; I sure bet those human beings have grown alot from the whole experience.

I think his "point" is "I told you so". He thinks it legitimizes his crazy ideologies, not that it has any benefit for the community.

Glenn Beck is a hysterical idiot who has no sense of perspective. He was fired because he started talking against George Soros, while working for a "news" organization. That basically tells you his level of intelligence.

Well the climate change crowd certainly is disappointed that it didnt become stronger and more powerful. Dont worry, there's always next time. :\

i'm sorry for the people who lost their homes and lives but he makes a good point on this one.
