Film Gimme Danger (The Stooges) / Jim Jarmusch

always down for music docs and from jim jarmusch, ahh yea. now would be a good time to rewatch "dead man"

looking forward to it, watched that interview while rolling up some bud. i'm familiar with iggy pop, not much the stooges, so this will be informative af.

Love The Stooges and love Jim Jarmusch films so for me, this is a perfect match.

Likewise.
I'm very excited about this film, and had been thinking about starting a thread on it myself.

Has there ever been a better rock'n'roll band than the Stooges?

Not that I can think of. I have a few in that top echelon such as The Saints and Velvet Underground but there isn't one that tops them.

8am and i've alredy watched like an hour of iggy pop interviews on youtube.
