GHB solvents

Nonpolar solvents incude gasoline, paint thinner, lighter fuel etc. They don't mix with water, and that is the thé typical sign of a nonpolar solvent. Alcohol(ethanol) is a moderately polar solvent, and mixes with both water and gasoline + similar solvents...

thx so if i say i have been told to use a np solvent of my choice but recommended xylene but cant find it a paint thinner/stripper will do?

^ If the thinner is toluene, like it usually is, then it will do. If it's acetone or something else that is water-soluble, then it cannot be used as a NP solvent.

Realizing that the issue was 6 years ago Im gonna go ahead and point out that a barium enema as used with imaging in a medical setting is done with barium sulphate which is insoluble in water, it is in suspension.
Logically it would not be toxic to you that way.

Xylene is an okay solvent but more toxic than say petroleum ether. The latter can be found in naphtha, white spirits (light carbohydrate fraction mixture) or coleman fuel.
