The doctor I received my adderall script from for 2.5 years also was a pain management doctor. I was only receiving adderall from him, but his business literally just vanished from a couple of unhappy pain management patients suing him for malpractice.

He left me hanging with no voice message or real warning that he would disappear/his practice was going under. However, I have a sheet of paper that shows my exact dosage and how frequently I received my script. Has this ever happened to anyone before? He was a mean spirited man with vicious mood swings. I hated dealing with him. I am intending to reach out to another doctor and preferably a much nicer human. I have not shown any issues with the meds or have ever been flagged down by a pharmacy for trying to pull some sketchy strings. I do not want to be changed from instant release to extended.. I literally require the exact same script as before! Please let me know any feedback on the situation. Thank you! :) I am currently in a tiny bit of withdrawal as we speak because it was so recent. How difficult/easy is the process to getting the script back from a different doctor?

Just make an appointment and provide them with your medical history, Your in withdraw from Adderall?

so im very happy to have a adhd-specialist for adults in vienna. :) a normal gp does not even make the dianostic, it lasts really long until you finally get told: you have adhd.

But better then nothing.

Once i had a doctor who refused to see me after years of being a patient I think this is because I played her into giving me scripts all you gotta do is take the pill bottle into your new doctors office and show them the bottle will have your name name of drug and the date it was filled youll be good to go

Doctors can definitely be unpredictable lol. Was insurance an issue with it or anything? I've got my last month's bottle as well as the sheet.
