Public defender? With 4 felonies at 9 years a piece max on them? Fuck that. I hired one of the best lawyers I could. Cost me 10 grand but she was cool about letting me pay over time and not all in one sum, thank God, which I obviously couldn't have done. She's all paid off now though. Gave her the last 2 grand last week. So, if anyone is gonna get me a good deal, it's her.

Well god damn I hope so. Never had to get a lawyer cuz I've only been arrested for DUI and that was once when I was 19. $700 for the program I went to(was $600 but I had other fees) and $50 per charge court costs and my 5 or 6 violations went to 1. That's a lot different then 4 felonies tho.

Although I had a friend that got first offense DUI after wrecking his truck cuz he put down a 5th of crown royal. He paid $3500 and still got supervised probation for 3 years and 30 days suspended, plus fines. That's after paying $3500 for a lawyer. You would think it would be dropped to something else that's not as bad.
 
Tried my first 2 ever stamp bags of what I assume was dope from Wilmington DE.

I know the price and count varies with stamps from place to place, but these could not have been more than 5$ retail cause I really was surprised at just how little powder was in the Philly style blue bags.

Someone who does stamps on the regular would have got a good laugh at watching me try to get the powder out and it really made me appreciate how shit is bagged around here cause I easily could have fit 5 stamps in one average Boston bag. Not to mention it's a hell of a lot easier to just open a double wrapped sandwich corner 'twist' and pour my desired amount out than it is to take 3-4 stamps out of the individual bags then unfold the packet and dump the shit out.

With that said, I'm sure after doing it so much, people learn to open and prep everything lightning fast with their own techniques, much like I've learned to do with the Boston packaging.
 
try squirting tiny amounts of the water youre gonna use for the shot into the bags at the end to get that last bit out. Thats how i had to do tar when i was down in texas.
 
Philly bags are way better for the most part, in quality and definetly quantity. Wilmington bags are pretty damn small and are cheaper but I think the quality is close to Philly cuz it's not like they don't come from there anyway, I think they're cheaper by like $10 bun. The best bags I've had lately were the white bags with the tape on them. Much easer to open and are about
50% bigger then regular Philly blue bags and about 4X as much as Wilmington bags. But you can get buns cheaper the further north towards Wilmington you go obviously. I'm like 2-2.5 hours from Wilmington so id rather pay extra $10 for the Philly bags but either will get me right and breaks through a few weeks of 4mg a day of suboxone.
 
its not hard to get it out once you get a system down.

all I needed really:

cd case
car key (have also used the little piece on the end of a shoelace if I was in backseat)
piece of paper (save your receipts!)
(optional) plastic card or business card

first you want to get the wax paper out of the plastic single, I would just rip off the top and take it out rather than try to pull it open

unfold the bag, pinch the top part shut, and flick it repeadtly with your finger while stretching it upright until all the dope has fallen to the bottom portion of the bag (if you dont do this step the shit just clings to the side of the bag usually. this loosens it up to make getting it out easier.)

stick the car key (or w/e) in the bag and make it form a straight line with it open as taut as possible

while keeping this shape, slowly dump the contents into the middle of the cd case. flick it a little bit while upside down but dont go crazy because its better to just let whatever is stuck in the corners stay there for later extraction than making it poof out everywhere due to you flicking it way too hard

once its on the cd case its pretty self-explanatory lol

Ha yeah you become pretty quick with it. I can make a 7 bag shot in under 30 seconds usually. It becomes like muscle memory, opening the bags, dumping the dope out, etc. Then you keep the bags and scrape them all out later on. After accumulating a bunch of empty bags, you can get a pretty decent sized shot just scraping them, especially NJ bags which stick a lot more to the wax paper, IME.

Effect: hahah i feel ya on the baggies, Id hate when Id go to downtown la and wet saliva covered lil balloons and then have to rip open five or six of em esp when i was sick...worse part was once i opened them and they were bird shit. :( i was still a noob to LA but had already learned never to spend all my cash on one buy, save enough in case i got ripped off. Luckily i had 15 extra dollars to go back and find a legit dude. Eventually i got a regular. Sucks being new to a big city, although this was awhile ago.
 
You unfold the bag,open and tap everything down to the bottom. Tear the bag across the second fold from the bottom. Grab each side of bag opposite the side creases while tapping everything towards the middle of the bottom. Still holding the bag opposite the creases start tearing the bag.It will naturally tear following the side creases to the bottom. This leaves something in the shape of a rolling paper in your fingers and you just tap the dope,which will be in the middle, into your favorite cooker and do your thang.

Idk if it's just because of how crowded the jails are in the city, but when I got popped in Queens I kinda unknowingly used a public defender and luckily got everything dropped to a violation the next day.

They moved us from cell to cell until we were in one where they had little closet looking things you went into as your name was called, and someone spoke to you about your charges real quick. I thought it was just for my arraignment, so when I finally went to see the judge I figured I would just enter my plea of 'not guilty' and have the case adjourned (and adjourned and adjourned, etc...) but low and behold there was an offer waiting for me when I got in front of the judge with some public defender standing 15 feet in front of me saying a few things about me, so I took the plea since it was down to a violation.

I never heard of anything like that though. Usually your arraignment is the first of many court cases which I was dreading having to deal with, but myself and everyone else that was locked up with me with a misdemeanor all used one of 2-3 public defenders and got the charges dropped to violations.

Now of course in the time leading up to that they were moving us from cell to cell, so I guess they put all the people with the lesser charges like myself in the same cell, and the people with felony charges went into other cells where they were probably told to get lawyers. That didn't even cross my mind though since I never used a lawyer for my arraignment before so that was nothing different, but the case being concluded right then and there was a pleasant change of pace.

If I had been pulled over 10 mins later in the next county over on LI it would have been a completely different story. In fact my co-defendent had an open case on LI when we got popped, and we got that Queens charge dropped then and there yet he's still going to court for the case he caught 5 months before that on LI. I've never heard of a case taking less than a year to be resolved on LI unless the person didn't get bailed out and got time served (or a few more months tacked on) once they saw the judge for the case a month or so after waiting to see them.

Thanks JB. In my case it was a long time ago and while the pain really does lessen over time I still miss him and remember the date he died as much as I remember my own kids birthdays.
