I agree, definitely does not look like some that would appeal to me. I hate people seeing me nod out in the normal opiate induced way for even a second on dope. I can only imagine how that would appear to onlookers.



No problem bud and no I'm not out yet. Turns out the bacteria causing problems for my valve was never fully treated (courtesy of Shattuck hospital 8) Gotta thank the doctors there for being more concerned with my urine sample then my heart valve) when I was the hospital last fall so I'm about a week into another 2 week course of IV antibiotics. The Shattuck!what were you in the prison unit? haha. In another life I did an internship there(circa 1986) when Illario (Larry) Zannino was a patient in the prison unit there. 10+ years later I was back at the Shattuck but this time I was waiting for the needle xchange van to show up.
 
Hahah nah not on the prison unit. Not surprised you've encountered the place along your journey. But shit dude I have so many stories just from the 6 weeks I was there. I'm really gonna write them down sometime soon when I take enough Adderall. I'm actually a decent writer.

Shattuck is pretty notorious around the Boston area. I'm glad I went there just for the experience and the people I met (most are filled with exciting tales of their own), but as far as my actual care goes I'm much happier at Spaulding this time around. It actually feels like a hospital. I really need to write down my whole 2 month experience from last fall while it's still fresh in my mind. Between MGH and Shattuck I really have some interesting stories that I think most likeminded people would enjoy.

That's what I was thinking. I've thought of doing it before because I really enjoyed reading seedless and JunkieSays. I just don't want to disappoint as they set the bar high based on the responses I've read from other who read them.

Honestly I'll probably do it anyway for my own enjoyment and just so I can get them on paper and have them for looking back on for a good laugh/smile when I'm older.

Dude C'mon...if your gonna give away my stories before I even have a chance to tell them, you could at least give a spoilers warning.

But seriously don't worry about if your stories are written like someone else's just do it for you. That's my mindset with playing guitar,I do it to please no one but me. If anyone else don't like it that's there problem.

Dope dreams? yeah absolutely....while high? I don't really dream when I'm on dope...but when I'm off dope, I have some really intense dreams...but I always end up spilling it, or the cops come...I can never seem to actually do it!

Overall, cocaine dreams are more intense for me though...

Or ill think im still at my house when my eyes are closed and im half awake/asleep and ill take my hand and start ceelin along the edge of my bed for my dopebag and when my hand hits the cold cement im like fuuuuuuck. Im still here. Havent heen to jail in a year and a half tho.

I get intense dreams while in wd during whatever winks of sleep i can get. Sometimes get vivid dreams while high a lot of the times its something coming at me that wakes me up, once was a snake/dragon thing that coiled and pounced at me, once was a ghost/phantom thing and once was a fist. Always scares the shit outta me and theyre always coming at me and i wake up w a started scream.

Anyway, cocaine dreams?? After coke i just roll around praying for sleep or dope. Or more coke.

its been raining here for a solid 36 hours minimum like uganda be kidding me with this shit

good thing I have fuck all to do today except put on some walking shoes
 
On the dope dreams: BlueHues your so fuckin right. I have them all the time and I everything is always going my way and I'll come up on a bunch of money and get a bunch dope and I'll start fixing it and every time without fail, something will happen to prevent me from doing it. I'll drop it or someone or something will distract me and the dream will take a different path until I wake up shortly after.

I just don't understand why this is such a common phenomena and our brains just won't let us do the drugs. I even still get dreams about the old OC 80s now and then and I'll always be lining it up (used to sniff those so that's what my brain has me do in the dream) and the same type of deal will occur. Usually someone comes who wouldn't approve of seeing me sniff drugs and I'll have to hide my line real quick and the cycle repeats. Happened the night before last actually.
 
I still have those dreams all the time
But I actually do get to get high in my dreams, rarely, but it has happened

But yeah most of the time I'll already have it and am looking for some where to fix and keep getting side tracked and what not
When you do get high in your dream though you can for real feel that shit again, then I wake up like fuck me

Shit's unbelievable.Prolly some high-tech "Noah" promo. F-in TV woke me up this at 6AM with that LOUD annoying beep warning Fall River,NB ,E.Prov and Prov. of flash floods.First thing that came to mind were gazillions of buns floating thru the streets.There's a dream for ya.
