GBL Megathread - 2nd dose

^I never source posted, I only asked whether my package of legal contents would be stopped by customs for any reason.

I wasnt aware that was an infringment on the rules

i guess that is kind of borderline though, kind of like asking how would be the best way to smuggle cocaine into the country, but not quite that .

By the way, it would be best to ignore most of what i say tonight because i reckon im gonna be talking shit most of the night

Haha obsessive face touching? :D

Does anyone find that after a break the next dose isn't as good as the subsequent? I read that a certain enzyme is produced more when introduced to GBL after a few times.

You see, I had a break for three weeks and had 2ml today, it was nice but nothing special. Maybe the high will be a little better my next time, or time after that?

I took a valium the other day and Im getting spots now, Im not sure if it was the valium which totally messed me up or the fact that I finished a prohormone cycle last week and estrogen is getting the better of me :/

anyone else found nausea after a few hours after dosing 3mL's or more at once.
Love the sexual effects of G.
I been using G to help me benzo taper and its helping by spreading my benzo dose's apart longer.
Does blowing out off G count as sleep?
Do you guys prefer GBL over GHB, 1,4b etc. ?

Christ what are you doing trying to come off benzos with GBL8oIts sounding like a recipe made in hell...serious potential for dual addiction:(
GBL sleep is mainly REM sleep, but I look like shit after being on it for 5 days eg my eyes are black looking as if I've been smashed in the face....suspect that I don't get proper deep sleep on it.
I get mild nausea if I dose more often that every 2 hours.
Withdrawal on the otherhand is almost undealable for hours 5 through 8 due to dry heaving constantly, due to excess dopamine. The neurotransmitter is responsible for control of nausea, hence promethezine (a dopamine-antagonist anti histamine)is very good for removing nausea.

The nauseas normally comes pretty much in the first half hour if i have a high dose.

Broken brain is right about it being mainly REM sleep because ive had the craziest long dreams on GBL, but REM sleep isnt the only type of sleep the body needs. Its ok to use it every now and again for sleep but not having a proper sleep cycle for a long period of time is not a good idea

GBL throws you right into REM sleep, which I believe is the best type of sleep. I certainly wake up feeling refreshed, and like I've had a good night's sleep, even if I haven't slept much at all.

REM sleep doesnt rest your brain at all because your brain still thinks it is awake. well thats what ive heard anyway. If anyone can correct me on the real facts that would be great.

I always thought that REM sleep was the most beneficial type of sleep you can get. I'm not too sure, now.

apparently non-REM sleep comprised about 75% of all normal sleep during the night and the brain is very active during REM sleep so it would seem to me that when the brain needs resting, a normal sleep without excessive REM would be better.

edit - found this quote from a website that basically says that both are important, and also gives reasons why

* Stage 1 (Drowsiness) - Stage 1 lasts just five or ten minutes. Eyes move slowly under the eyelids, muscle activity slows down, and you are easily awakened.
* Stage 2 (Light Sleep) - Eye movements stop, heart rate slows, and body temperature decreases.
* Stages 3 & 4 (Deep Sleep) - You’re difficult to awaken, and if you are awakened, you do not adjust immediately and often feel groggy and disoriented for several minutes. Deep sleep allows the brain to go on a little vacation needed to restore the energy we expend during our waking hours. Blood flow decreases to the brain in this stage, and redirects itself towards the muscles, restoring physical energy. Research also shows that immune functions increase during deep sleep.
* REM sleep (Dream Sleep) – At about 70 to 90 minutes into your sleep cycle, you enter REM sleep. You usually have three to five REM episodes per night. This stage is associated with processing emotions, retaining memories and relieving stress. Breathing is rapid, irregular and shallow, the heart rate increases, blood pressure rises, males may have penile erections, and females may have clitoral enlargement.

Importance of deep sleep and REM sleep
Deep Sleep

Each stage of sleep offers benefits to the sleeper. However, deep sleep is perhaps the most vital stage. It is the first stage that the brain attempts to recover when sleep deprived, and the strongest effects of sleep deprivation are from inadequate deep sleep. What might disrupt deep sleep? If you are caring for someone around the clock, whether it is a small infant or an elderly relative with a serious illness, you might need to attend to them suddenly in the middle of the night. Loud noise outside or inside the home might wake you. If you work the night shift, sleeping during the day may be difficult, due to light and excess noise during the day. Substances like alcohol and nicotine also disrupt deep sleep.

Maximize your deep sleep. Make sure your sleep environment is as comfortable as possible and minimize outside noise. If you are being awakened as a caregiver, make sure that you get some time of uninterrupted sleep, especially if you have had some unusually disruptive nights. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
REM sleep

REM sleep, or dream sleep, is essential to our minds for processing and consolidating emotions, memories and stress. It is also thought to be vital to learning, stimulating the brain regions used in learning and developing new skills. Most of dreaming occurs during REM sleep, although it can happen during other sleep stages as well. There are different theories as to why you dream. Freud thought that dreams were the processing of unconscious desires. Today, researchers wonder if it may be the brain’s way of processing random fragments of information received during the day. Much of dreaming is still a mystery. If REM sleep is disrupted one night, your body will go through more REM the next to catch up on this sleep stage.
Getting more REM sleep

Studies have shown that better REM sleep helps boost your mood during the day. How can you get more REM sleep? One simple way is to try to sleep a little more in the morning. As your sleep cycles through the night, it starts with longer periods of deep sleep. By the morning, the REM sleep stage is longer. Try sleeping an extra half hour to hour and see if your mood improves.

Improving your overall sleep will also increase your REM sleep. If your body is deprived of deep sleep, it will try to make that up first- at the expense of REM sleep.

Although I have to say it's quite a lot of fun to black out in the middle of a house party and come to after 3 hours, not realising you'd blacked out in the first place, and carry on as super-fucked as you were when you were last conscious.
This doesn't sound like harm reduction.More like harm PRODUCTION:\
Passing out in public on GBL is one of the reasons people want it illegal. How do you know that you aren't going to wake up bent over a log, being filmed with some fucker in a gimp mask buried up to the hilt in your arse:(

Anyone found mixing like any other downer can lead to like delirium eg. antihistamines and opiates.
Any found good drugs to mix it with other than mdma, weed and all round come down drug.
