Hey guys and gals,

Long story short, I have been diagnosed with gastritis from my GI specialist. The first 2 weeks (back in November) was legitimately some very serious pain where I thought something had ruptured or I had a kidney stone or something like that (never have a kidney stone but could imagine it something like that).
It has been going on for about 4 months now. I am on esomeprazole(nexium), famotidine (pepcid), and sucralfate. I have been trying my best to watch what I eat but there are times where I don't have the option but to eat what is available. My GI specialist couldn't give me an answer to why it has been caused (I've had h. pylori tests, ct scan, endoscopy etc.)

I was just wondering if it were possible that it could be caused by taking too much Vicodin (mainly referring to the years and large amounts of acetaminophen)?
Also, could I have gastritis due to another underlying issue such as my gallbladder?
I can't seem to find a solid answer online.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
