Gabepentin (neurontin) Serious Pain issue

I'm new to bluelight and I have a question about gabepentin. I saw a old thread about the subject. My shrink had me on 400mgs 1 in morning 2 at night. Then my pcp diagnosed me with Raynauds Phenomenon but is not sure thats whats causing my extreme pain. I haven't slept in 2 days it hurts to lie down, last night he upped me to 3600mgs of neurontin a day.. i feel out of it and twitchy. I also have 9 concussions and have Traumatic Vertigo and Vestibupathy, so its hard for me to walk a straight line as it is (i have dr.'s notes for that - because i got pulled over alot before i lost my license for 2 2nd dui's in the same year so i am on probation for 3 years and or 3.5 yrs jail time - same judge two different countys - shitty lawyer) But I am in serious fucking pain, and I am taking 30mg ocxycodone A's 215 with it. I dunno if I should IV another one, I took the first one orally chewed it up. I have to wait till october to see a rhuematologist and I have a million tests coming up, one where they have to stick needles in my muscles and shock me. Does anyone have any advice? I want to kill myself.
My dr won't see me today and that mean I get a phone call and he's gonna say wait for the neurontin to kick in - well i've taken high doses before, it just makes me uncordinated. I don't know what to do. A few weeks ago they told me to go to the ER and I ask what the hell are they gonna do?? they said "Pain Management" I don't think they would give me anything maybe 14 oxy 512's but thats it (thats what they gave me for a motorcycle burn - it seems to be the standard dose around here with no refills) I told my dr the only time I had no pain was the few weeks after the third surgery on my elbow this june, they gave me oxycodone and i bitched till they gave me dialauded.... and there was no pain..... my dr is not too keen on giving me those. I shot them anyways.
Someone please help me, I can't take the pain....

Sounds like you don't feel too great at the moment. If you're seriously having suicidal thoughts, is there anyone you can call or go and see? A friend, just to talk about those thoughts. If not, you could get support here in our forum The Dark Side, Other Drugs won't really help you out that much.

There is a post over there for Lyrica which is a little stronger than gabapentin but they are talking...
I'm not suicidal or anything.. just afraid i am going to drop dead. Someone on the post over there is taking half of what I am..

Lyrica is much much stronger than Neurontin and works better for pain, I suggest you speak to your doc about using that instead. Good luck!

Well i am on gabapentin as well for trigeminal neuralgia and my dose is 600mg's 4 times a day. This with the MScontin and MS ir's for breakthrough works decent for my pain although i am not on nearly high of enough dose.

Finding meds to treat pain is kinda a crap shoot at first and a hassle because doctors hate having to deal with chronic conditions as a rule. Especially chronic pain since you arent allowed to have pain until you hit 60 years of age atleast .

My advice would be to go to a chronic pain doc and keep bugging the bastard until he gives you something that works for you. You can't be nice or a pushover with these people because that will get you nowhere. Be assertive and bug the shit out of them until you get proper pain management.
