Does anyone know if it's possible to freeze PPT (made with hot water, lemon juice, and ground pods) without damaging the alkaloids?
My method of preparation and consumption has been to make one large batch of a consistent amount and strength which I wish to stick to.
I am tapering down and off and have reached the stage where one batch is lasting a long time, as I'm near the end of the taper.
I have tried making smaller batches, by halving the quantities of Pod grounds and water, but this definitely affects the strength of the PPT, for reasons too long winded to explain. Doing this means that the batches are not the same strength and so it messes up the taper.
So I'm considering freezing half or more of the next batch, due to concerns of bacterial or mould growth if I keep the tea in the fridge for several weeks.
But if freezing could potentially destroy or damage the alkaloids then obviously that's not going to be any good.
