Jenny, your post is heartbreaking to me. Sometimes a person can feel so alone that it feels like death. Remember yourself as a child and protect that child right now. Be your own mother, your own best friend and come back into the world stronger. whatever has happened in your family--whether it is your drug use, addiction, other unrelated dysfunction--is all repairable with small steady changes. Don't lose hope. I know how hard it is to hold hope when you feel alone. I am a mother, old enough to be a grandmother, and it breaks my heart to think of you feeling this way. Please let the community of Bluelight help hold you up right now. Human beings want community, want family. Feeling truly alone in our lives is practically equivalent to dying of thirst or hunger. I am available here or via PM anytime. Please do not let this temporary situation define you to yourself. Do not let it take you down. Fight for yourself like a mother bear.
