For a worker, speed is the best drug.

I need to work a lot. Speed and coffee is very good for my journey.

I strongly suggest stimulent to stay active.

i found washing dishes for restaurants to be fun while on stimulants... what do you do for work?

Idk I always ended up staying home to watch porn for 22 hours everytime
Same. Many stimulants actually make me rather unproductive, especially meth. Adderall is more functional, but even then a recent study came out that showed that kids with ADHD did not actually have improved performance in school, it only made them appear more focused.

but with many people doing speed to smoke more weed
Smoke more weed at work. :)

When I first did/had a problem with speed, it was washing dishes in a restaurant as a teenager. (Imagine that)
I tried to do college and work full time at night on speed with predictable results.
Did the typical dirt road of paranoia and shadow people eventually. Had to quit to save my life/relationships.

Anyway, it was my first job with many hours and really thought that I needed speed to work. Couldn't imagine full tilt boogie without it.
I discovered that I could put myself into a similar mindset without speed, maybe with coffee. I call it "go mode"
As an old fart, I still have people tell me how I get hyper when there's work to do.

Yeah…when I used to do stimulants I’d used to tell myself “well, I didn’t get much sleep last night and it will help me work better” or “I have a lot to do today”

All that ever ended up happening was I’d be get high and when the stimulants would kick in if it were say 150mg adderral I’d end up leaving work like an hour into my shift fit whatever reason I made up that day.

Adderral was better than propylhexidrine though. Propylhexidrine wouldn’t even let me leave the house before during or after the experience. I’m so glad I’ve been off stims since December. I literally couldn’t function but I don’t judge those that can. In the beginning I could but then it just took over and went a different direction.

And I highly disagree with giving children stims with all the alternatives out there. And I don’t just mean medicinal treatment. I mean my nephew is 11 and my sister is an extremely educated teacher and I just found out this weekend she has him on concerta. Granted concerta is one of the harder to abuse stims or so I hear. I never actually had Concerta but I’m sure there’s a work around to abuse it.

11 years old man…sometimes kids are just being kids…

This is how I feel when someone tries to drug a child.

Why can't they just let kids play sports to help them focus?

As a teenager I was diagnosed with ADD several times independently by 3 doctors and was given adderall. Probably because I was just anxious/depressed which made me disinterested in class.

Then I found chess, and became obsessed with it. I could literally sit for countless hours hyper focused on chess.

After that, suddenly my diagnosis was changed to "Overfocused ADD", which means I focus too well on one thing at a time.... yes, such a bullshit paradoxical diagnosis exists.

I realized it was all a scam around that time, but I was almost an adult by that point.

It's truly insane to me how many powerful psychotropic drugs they shove down kids throats. Like 40% of kids are on adderall by the time they get to college. That's INSANE.

The world seemed to function just fine before adderall was invented, now they hand it out like a life saving drug and convince these kids they aren't normal without it.

Try to take away someone's adderall and the FIRST thing they tell you is they can't function without it. Such utter bullshit.

Convince someone there is something wrong with them, and they'll believe it for the rest of their life. Customer for life.

Keep the proletariat docile, productive, addicted, and happy with lack of sleep due to so little free time. Perfect solution for the ruling class.
It's the way I survived when I was working in a factory to earn tuition for engineering school. I would get out of date dexi's so I could pull sheet metal from a scroll sheer and load them on palettes for further fabrication, then weigh them. I remember moving 4 tons during one 12 hour shift. No way I could have done that without serious help.

All just to make "quota".

Funny you say that because that is EXACTLY what my girl was saying when she was debating coming off of it and I was trying to convince her that she doesn’t “need” it.

She is off it now though and is much happier and low and behold she functions just fine. Never complains about lack of focus or seems to have issues focusing like she did when she was taking adderral (prescribed) but not on it during that part of the day if that makes sense the way I worded that.

She wasn’t diagnosed with ADD until she was 42. Like really? You think she has ADD and she’s 42 doc? Never had had it before? So strange.

So glad she’s off of it because it was hard to stay away from when I was living with my supplier.
