Flunitrazepam Structure?

Isn't it water soluble because among with midazolam (maleate/HCl) it's the only benzo that can be converted into a salt (loprazolam mesylate)?

Oxazepam can be converted into a salt too (Oxazepam Succinate, which is water soluble)

Midazolam Maleate/Hydrochloride
Loprazolam Mesylate
Oxazepam Succinate

Any other benzo that is commercialized as a salt?

Flurazepam is water soluble too, is it a salt?

Oxazepam succinate is an ester of oxazepam, not a salt, the OH group is conjugated with succinate

So you could do this with any benzo that has an OH at that position, like temazepam or lormetazepam for instance.

What this made me think of is that all those people who have wrecked their veins from injecting insoluble forms of temazepam, really it happened because of the government's anti-drugs policies...if they really wanted to reduce harm then it would be easy to produce injectable ampoules of temazepam succinate specifically for benzo addicts.

And yes, flurazepam has an extra nitrogen atom on the diethylaminoethyl side chain which means it can form a salt. Dalmate is flurazepam hydrochloride, while Dalmane is flurazepam dihydrochloride.
