I've read over and over that Flexeril has no recreational use. There were a few reports on Erowid that were positive, and I had a few that had been laying around for months. Being someone who has to try everything once, I crushed 2 of them up, added a little water, and swallowed it down. Total dose was 20 mg.
About 10 minutes in, I started to get a headache. This grew till around the 20 minute mark, then suddenly went away. At this point I was feeling a little relaxed, but nothing major. I went to take a shower thinking that the relaxing feeling of the shower in combination with the muscle relaxer might feel nice.
While in the shower, I did feel a little bit of a head change. I felt a bit dreamy and everything seemed a little surreal. Nothing great, and not what I would call a positive effect or a high. After the shower, I got dressed and sat down at the computer to read over a few different forums. At this point a certain laziness set in that made me feel like I just couldn't move. I fell asleep for maybe 10 minutes while sitting there. I was just incredibly tired and I lacked motivation to move an inch. I had told my girlfriend that I would be driving over to her place that evening, so eventually I built up enough motivation to move. I got in the car and was not feeling fucked up at all really, just kinda relaxed and very tired. No problems driving.
I got to my girlfriends place in about 20 minutes. At this point it all hit me. I thought that was kind of strange since I had taken the dose more than an hour ago. I got so tired I basically became a walking zombie. If I sat down for more than 2 minutes, I was out like a light. I was absolutely glued to the reclining chair I sat down in. This stuff redefines the meaning of couchlock. I sat in that chair going in and out of sleep for about 4 hours. I would wake up here and there, and I had no idea what was really going on when I did wake up. It was like I took some serious sleeping pills. I would always fall back asleep within minutes, if not seconds. There was one strange effect I noticed. It was like restless leg syndrome, but it was in my arms. It was really wierd, and was responsible for waking me up several times. I just got this intense antsy feeling in my arms and had to move them. Eventually I went to bed when my girlfriend basically had to drag me out of the chair. I slept all night, and am feeling alot better this morning.
So I guess I just re-confirmed what everyone else on this forum has said. This stuff is pretty nasty. Stay away unless you are trying to get 12+ hours of sleep or seriously enjoy feeling like a narcoleptic.
