Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I've been trying to take a break from anything drug-related for a little while. Hopefully I'll be around a bit more from now on, I just wanted to prove something to myself and didn't want to accidentally trigger somehow.
Been clean for 4 weeks now, thanks to MMT! It took a little while to get out of the habit of scoring and to get my 'done up to a level that would hold me but now I'm up to ~50mg and am going to go up to 60mg and then stop, at least for now, because that seems to hold me for close to a whole day which is the objective. I've never got euphoria off my methadone, but it's great for managing the withdrawal and that's all I really want. Plus since I'm on opiates all the time, even though it's not euphoric, it still manages my anxiety really well. I've started seeing a psychologist to deal with my insomnia and anxiety -- I'm on seroquel for insomnia and have reduced my dosage from close to 200mg a night to only 75mg a night which I'm quite proud of. My friend has been giving me a bit of xanax for when I feel a panic attack coming along and it's really helpful. I'm trying to get a script for it currently but they are iffy because of mixing CNS depressants with my methadone.
Anyway, just letting you guys know that I'm still alive, and am doing well, and that I still think about you guys and all the help you gave me in the weeks/months leading up to my MMT treatment. I've started applying for part-time jobs .. Thought I had one sorted but it fell through, but I've applied at the supermarket my partner works at and a few other places. I'm still smoking pot, but only maybe once a week, as a social thing. Also have got back into my PC gaming which I used to really love before drugs took over my life and it's really fun .. Met a lot of new friends at my local internet cafe and they're all very supportive and fun to be around.
