ok, just for the record, i get my fill of popular culture from bl, and i didn't realize the whole world is aware of this movie, and was shocked to see "snakes on the plane" t shirts out front at the Hot Topic. i was alone, so had to laugh my ass off by myself, and look around for someone to see, so i could enjoy the laughter with another, alas, there was noone.

the marketing really is brilliant, and i love samuel jackson for having such a great sense of humor, and not being so arrogant, and just wantin to get paid

This is one of the worst films I've ever seen! If they wanted to use that excuse of "we will embrace the stupidity of this...", they should have kept Ronny Yu as the director. Instead of the current plain stupidity, we would have then had ourselves our money's worth of blood, horror and stupidity. As it were...

I want that muthafucking hour and a half back in my muthafucking life!

what?!? i thought the movie was fucking hilarious, and i loved the casting.

it wasn't a great movie, but it was never supposed to be. it didn't take itself too seriously and that was the point. it was a campy fun-gory flick.
