Bluelight Crew
Film: Hard Core Logo
I FINALLY found this on DVD a couple weeks ago, and I've watched it like ten times since. INCREDIBLE movie.
For those who haven't heard of it, it's a Canadian film documenting a punk rock band's reunion tour. It's the best rock movie ever. Makes Spinal Tap look like a direct-to-video Disney release.
Tarrantino released it on DVD in the states, so by some strange twist, it's easier to find a Canadian movie in the US than it is in Canada.
Here's the DVD:

Bruce McDonald, the director, is a fucking genius. There's this scene where the camera facing forward on the roof of a van driving along the highway in the mountains of British Columbia. There's a skylight in the van, and the drummer's head is sticking up in it, just watching everything go by. His eyes are lit up like a four year old's on Christmas morning, and the reflections of the scenery and the lights spin around his head, like the rebirth scene in 2001. Absolutely breathtaking.
Could a mod please make this a Rate This Movie? And can I register two or three alter-egos to give it 8 or 12 out of 4 stars?
