Hi guys! So I've got an interview coming up. I've not gone to one since pre covid, I'm extremely nervous for some stupid reason. Any tips I'll be facing four people in the interview, it's for an admin position. I really love the company, ethics, and cause. I feel I'm the one standing in the way.
It’s completely normal to be nervous before an interview, especially if you haven’t had one in a while – it just means that you really care about getting this job. Before an interview with four people, it’s important to stay calm, look at each person in turn, and take your time with your answers – you can think a little before you speak. Prepare answers to typical administrative questions, especially those related to organization, communication, and multitasking, and try to use the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) technique to answer clearly and confidently. Don’t forget to formulate in advance why you love this company, and tie it to your personal values and experience. Before the meeting, take a deep breath, drink some water, and try to speak a little slower than usual.
