Ever met someone from Bluelight?

I'm not saying for a date, or romantically necessarily. Just as friends, even. Ever met someone in person that you met here? How did it go? Are you still in contact?
 
There are countless members of bluelight who have met in person and have forged really strong, great friendships/relationships. Most of my closest friends are people I originally met through bluelight. I met the man i'm marrying on Saturday is someone I met through here. There are a few less than nice people i've come across over the years, but that's life, really. On the whole, though, this place has enriched my life greatly.

A girl I was dating ended up getting a Bluelight account because of me...

I had a threesome with two Bluelighters once... RIP sputnic.
 
Yes, I've met heaps of people off bluelight.

In Aus Social, there used to be meet ups arranged all the time - they still occur, but people just tend to stick with who they get along with best now, and they're not 'bluelight events' so to speak.

I met my partner, who I now live with due to bluelight (by accident - he recognised me from one of the photo threads while at a random bar and came and said hi), while I was hanging out with two of my favourite bluelighters :D.
 
I can think of about six Bluelight marriages (there's probably more I'm forgetting) plus countless relationships.

I've met about 60-80 BLers in five different countries. Most of them were great, some of them I'll see again - if I lived in their town (or even country) I think I'd see more of them.

I am definitely impressed by this. I didn't know ANYBODY was meeting and I find out that plenty of stuff happens irl.

Can't say i have, but i have had the reverse happen.. i've known people in real life who i've later discovered to have a bluelight account by what they've posted..

Yeah some posted in Aus DD and mentioned events i had also attended, and another posted some artwork i had seen on their facebook profile, so i put two and two together PM'ed them and said hi! ;)

It is pretty strange that it can be that easy though..

I dated a fellow moderator for almost three years. I've met several, I'd consider one or two of them pretty decent friends.
