Etizolam Problem

Hi,

I am just looking for some feedback on Etizolam use. I have severe anxiety, to the extent that I can't leave my room, answer a phone, talk to strangers or leave the house without using Etizolam (I prefer, but no longer look for diazepam as there are no reliable sources left online that I know of).

I generally take around 4mg of etizolam spaced throughout the day and this allows me to function normally. I know I can't do this indefinitely but I have 200 on order and at the moment the distant threat of withdrawal DOESN'T seem as terrible as spending everyday terrified of leaving the house due to anxiety.

What do you think is the best way to regulate my intake so as to reduce rebound anxiety and addiction? I know that when I eventually stop I will feel awful for 2-7 days, but I am willing to accept that if it allows me to live a normal functional life in the meantime. It is sort of choosing the lesser of 2 evils.

Does anybody have a regime I could use to decrease the ill effects when I eventually stop taking them? I can do a taper, but that seems quite difficult with Etiz as they are in 1mg tabs so tapering down from 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 to 0.5 and 0.25 seems like it will be difficult as they are hard to break up and measure.

What should I do? I don't like being reliant on benzos, but I like it better than spending 24/7 terrified of leaving my room and terrified of talking to people when I don't have them. If the WD from etizolam only last 2-7 days I will probably just ride that out when I have to.

Any advice will be great though as I don't want to be dependent but I also don't want to be a hermit who can't leave the house and can't talk to people. If I could still source diazepam I would happily switch to them for a taper but I don't know any reliable vendors anymore. So, what advice can people give with etizolam?

Thank you for reading,

DavidWhy.

You have anxiety with agoraphobia.

The best way to regulate your intake is to speak to a doctor who can put you on a strict regimen and most likely explore some non-addicting methods before starting you on benzodiazepines.

The anxiety you face now is nothing compared to the anxiety you will face once you stop these drugs.

I think you need to speak to a doctor to arrange a taper with diazepam. Tapering using etizolam is notoriously difficult due to its short half life. You need to be open and honest with him/her about the doses you are on, and they will work out a safe way to wean you off the drug without risk of having a seizure or generally losing your mind.

Then you can explore other anti anxiety drugs that are non addictive such as buspar - it's a very underused but highly effective drug at combating anxiety problems head on. It takes about a week or two for it to accumulate in your system properly but even so you should feel much better after your first dose of it.

Perhaps you may have another condition that is unrelated to what you think is general anxiety disorder too. I was misdiagnosed with it and put on a cocktail of benzos, lyrica and SSRIs which yes did help my problem but turned me into a walking zombbie. I got extremely depressed to the point of suicide. After seeing two more pscyiatrists after coming off all that shit I was accurately diagnosed with ADHD. My mother came with me and explained all the problems I had as a child and after a week of tests and so on both came to the conclusion of ADHD. I now take dexedrine and I can say it has enormously helped turn around my life and I feel great.

DO NOT get lured into the trap of taking pregabalin/lyrica for anxiety. You will be told its non addictive and easy to come off but that's a complete lie. The withdrawal are comparable if not worse to benzos.

I sent you a message and you replied but bluelight is cockblocking me from sending another one, lol.

I forgot to mention, obviously, in regards to the amino acids I mentioned it'd be best to take them on an empty stomach, and in place of etizolam or any other benzos. Also I'd hope that you'd look into their function and research them in the same degree of importance as are this thread.

They can be incredibly safe, simple, cheap and effective game changers that nearly all doctors want to keep out of your hands in the sake of keeping themselves and the pharmaceutical companies pockets lined with your cash and blood.

/endrant haha

Thanks everyone. I haven't been using etizolam for long, maybe a few weeks. My doctor says there is nothing they can do about anxiety except benzos, which they won't prescribe long term. I am just going to suck it up most days and only take etizolam when I really need to: when I have to do something makes my anxiety levels soar. At 2 or 3 days a week I can hopefully stave off the negative effects when I do stop using them.

Gotcha! Yeah, I will take them first thing on a morning with a cup of tea. I have already looked them up on <snip> and am probably going to order some. I move house in a few days though so am waiting until then in case they take a while. I don't want them to go to my old address and I miss them. Your message was very much appreciated. Thanks.

Especially if you plan on stopping etizolam, I would immediately supplement both of those. I'd start with as small a dose as possible, one capsule each.

I have decided to make it a point in my life to share the success I (and many many others) have had with amino acids with the world. No one listens, and those that do will evolve into a better race. Survival of the fittest.

Like you said "My doctor says there is nothing to do about anxiety but benzos" because that is all that he can sell you. What you can sell yourself on is changing yourself from the inside out. It's very feasible.
