How do the two mix? How does the interaction compare to valium+alcohol or xanax+alcohol. Just asking as i have some of these and have always enjoyed a few drinks and some vals/other benzos

Same as other benzos (okay I know it's not a benzo, but you know what I mean) in my experience - they potentiate each other hugely so beware, combining two CNS depressants, especially ones that tend to remove self control, can be very dangerous...

ok i guess ill stick to the valium for making my drinking nights out cheaper, seems the safer option. was just curious if it was more towards the xanax end of the spectrum when regarding blackouts or not

valium isn't any safer than etizolam. is as bad, if not more. i've had major blackout periods from the combination before on par with xanax, well so i've been told.

if you're going to mix the two then start extremely low and take a slow pace. don't fall into the crux of etizolam/valium inhibition and start pounding whiskey.

dont get me wrong, ive (over)indulged many a time with various benzo/alcohol combos so I know where i stand. I also know the ratio of how much diaz+alcohol gets me good (it was a good money saver for a period of months). my question was how different is etizolam to these two benzos with regard to alcohol interaction. if the difference in minimal, then thats fine. as i am new to it, just wanted to check in case it was some anomaly

If you mix depressants, remember to start low as they potentiate each other

You can always start low and add more
But you can't start high and take away

IMO there is no appreciable difference with etizolam combined with alcohol compared to conventional benzos combined with alcohol, except that etizolam is shorter acting and relatively anxiolytic (so will feel different to a longer acting hypnotic, for example). YMMV however and I'll leave this open to see if anyone else has any input..

While there isn't much first-hand data about etizolam at the moment regarding blackouts and the like, you should treat it basically like alprazolam. Problem with etiz that i've noticed is that it seems to have very different effects on different people. Whether this is due to the drug itself or due to impurities (considering it's a rather black market sort of benzo at the moment) is hard to tell, though either way, tread lightly.

While combining benzos with alcohol always has its inherent dangers, if you already have experience combining alcohol with valium, it's probably better to stick to that rather than venturing into unknown territory with a drug you haven't used much before. If you do want to try mixing with etiz, make sure to start low (no more than 0.5mg) and see how you feel from there.
