Equivalency between Lorazepam and Clonazepam Question

I was wondering about the equivalency between lorazepam and clonazepam. I used to take clonazepam but I have switched to lorazepam.

I would take 0.75 mg of clonazepam and it worked (took it as needed). Some places say 1.5 lorazepam would be equivalent but it feels a bit high.

Just wanted to get some opinions since different sources only have different answers.

I was thinking of taking 1 mg of lorazepam.

No opinion necessary. Lorazepam (Ativan) is 50% as powerful by weight as Clonazepam (Klonopin). Benzodiazepines all share similar characteristics and cross-tolerance but their are minor differences from drug to drug - half-life, onset/duration, extent of hypnotic effect etc. - so these subtle differences can be perceived by users as a subjectively more or less powerful effect, even if taking equipotent doses.

My friend for instance handles all Benzodiazepines pretty much the same way, but Lorazepam always makes him super giggly, loopy and noticeably high.
