Why do you ask me these stupid questions? It's almost as if you haven't read one post in this entire thread. He wasn't supposed to have been able to kill himself in a max security facility, especially as such a high profile prisoner. Many COINCIDENCES had to happen for him to be able to successfully commit "suicide".

For what it's worth, you're right that a lot of things really look bullshit about this whole thing. It's either a conspiracy, or such profound hideous incompetence that they may as well have killed him on purpose.

I mean take that news the other day that he'd recently updated his will.

So he tried to kill himself recently, and just updated his will.... and what, then he just killed himself out of nowhere?

It seems obvious he was about to do it and nobody took any real action to stop him.

Assuming HE actually tried to kill himself initially in the first episode, he then got put under suicide watch. He was taken OFF suicide watch, presumably, because he wasn't suicidal anymore. Ergo, nobody would be taking an action to stop something they didn't expect. Either he was still suicidal and a bad assessment took him off suicide watch, or we wasn't suicidal and they acted appropriately, or he's an EXCELLENT actor with the psychologist.....OR it wasn't suicide. None of it makes sense.

Or even if he was taken off of suicide watch he still shouldn't have been able to commit suicide with routine guard checks and surveillance cameras.

You have to really suspend your disbelief to consider this a legitimate suicide sans foul play.

So I tried to find out more about this apparent camera malfunction. All I was able to determine is that it's very likely that this claim is entirely made up.
Certainly wouldn't surprise me, given people just believe anything they hear that tells them what they want to believe.

Hi, I dont know if Epstein killed himself or not, but I come from another country where "suiciding" a state attorney, who was a father and happy, two days before he would present a coruption case against the president is normal. Its very normal to have people who have dirt on you killed. Obviously in all these cases the cameras go missing, the cops who do the autopsy screw up, crime scene is screwed, etc. So it seems like something Ive already seen. Unlike my corrupt country which is hopeless, I hope the US will eventually find justice and truth for this case

I'm glad this is being investigated. Cause as it stands this situation stinks.

I do have a question for you though. What do you think it means that the FBI is investigating this?

I mean, while I think that epstein being murdered is quite plausible, I don't believe in the concept of giant conspiracies that control every agency in the government. To me, if he was murdered, this news looks like the FBI doing what it should be doing and investigating highly suspicious circumstances. And hope that in time we will get a much better idea of the truth of what actually happened. And if it was indeed suicide, how it was allowed to happen.

One way or another something or someone has to be held accountable for this.

I also wanna know more about exactly how and what was malfunctioning about the cameras. Because if the two cameras outside his cell are the only ones that seem to have failed. That's extremely suspicious.

For years. Epstein caught his first case years ago. Its the most scandolous news story to ever exist, it has everything; biollionare pedophile who gets caught and trialed and ends up only having to go to sleep in the jail at nights, having accsess to his jet during the day...everyone would eat up this story. Somehow it never got media attention.

What's truly unacceptable is how the state handled epstein. The media's one thing, but the state is supposed to be directly accountable to the public interest. Something they have routinely failed at either through incompetence or corruption.

It means nothing, it's just for show.
FBI investigates, finds nothing, so people go on with their day and forget about it.

well unfortunately for you, this is what the evidence is pointing towards. It's obvious (to some) that he was murdered so if he was then who would have been able to do this? We're talking about waltzing into a maximum security federal prison, killing him and then scrubbing all the evidence. Along with thwarting any legitimate investigation from federal authorities into what happened, and having the media sweep it under the rug. That is strong evidence pointing towards a broad conspiracy spanning across many institutions at the highest level.

To me, if he was murdered, this news looks like the FBI doing what it should be doing and investigating highly suspicious circumstances. And hope that in time we will get a much better idea of the truth of what actually happened. And if it was indeed suicide, how it was allowed to happen.

It's obvious that the truth is not going to be released, and probably not properly investigated.

Nobody will be. Nobody was held accountable for 9/11 so I wouldn't hold your breath on this one.

They'll find that it's a "suicide" and then that will give the official story more credibility. It's cover. Don't think for a second that the FBI will legitimately investigate.

Yeah I thought you'd say that. But it doesn't make any sense. If the FBI finds suicide, people like you are gonna go on believing the same thing, the people who think it's suicide will go on believing the same thing.

I doubt there are many people who's minds will be changed at this point. And it just increases the complexity of the conspiracy by requiring more participants. What's the point?

Worse than that, by launching the FBI investigation, they actually confirm that the cameras were malfunctioning. If the conspiracies that big and powerful, they could have kept that evidence quiet too.

It makes no sense. How can it be a huge conspiracy able to clean up all the evidence. Showing huge competence in its execution. But also so poor that they don't realize it's a bad idea to confirm the camera malfunction when they didn't have too? They could have just said there wasn't a camera in his cell, and left it at that. It explains why we can't see it, and is far less hard to swallow than the pointless addition to the story that there were 2 cameras but that they had just happened to fail.

... so the FBI can secure evidence and disappear it? I mean, i doubt the FBI is involved, this is CIA/upper echelon territory - they DO however, take orders from deep intelligence types. I would imagine this was a "clean up the evidence" operation using the FBI to assuage fears of impropriety in investigation. Only a few people are in charge of this, but they are WAY above pay grade (think acosta "I was told he belonged to intelligence, to leave him alone" ... if he was receiving orders on this, i expect many are.

Furthermore - there's almost no one else they COULD use to take those cameras and have it look semi-normal.

And if they didn't allow it, what's the alternative? Just what is being proposed to have happened?
