Elon Musk officially buys Twitter, DONE DEAL !

Both of them are card board cut-outs for the military industrial complex. Facebook is just DARPA's 'Lifelog' project.. which was shelved the same day Facebook came into being. Michael McKibben's company, Leader Technologies, created part of the technology that underpins facebook and other social media (some sort of scaling database technology), which was stolen and gifted straight to the tech giants so they could get the edge. Almost identical to what happened with Nikola Tesla, Marconi, and radio technology. Marconi got gifted the patents and then drove the technology forward on behalf of the British establishment (who now control five-eyes).

The establishment has plans. They need these idiots like Zuckerberg and Musk to front their systems to the public. If everyone knew all these platforms are just sifting and collecting data in order to construct a future prison system then no one would go along with it obviously.

All those mega data centres storing just about every single bit of global digital communications for meta analysis. That has been going on since 9/11, as Snowden revealed. And it did the square root of fuck all in catching Jimmy Saville or Epstein. It's not for stopping terrorists either. It's for creating the "Know your customer"/digital ID/CBDC/social credit score system.
Which prison system is being constructed with the internet/social media?

:?

How does anything I wrote there indicate that I should go to (for example) Saudi Arabia? I'm GLAD that I don't live there and have absolutely no desire to ever visit
Well you wrote about how brave these people are, so why not emulate them?

I went to university with students from the UAE and Morocco. Their families were well off, but nowhere near super ultra-wealthy. They were Muslim but prayed in private, and did not drink any alcohol as it is haram or forbidden.

The one man told me how he loved North America and the USA, because he could drive or go anywhere he wanted as he said in the UAE he would constantly get asked for ID by police, military, or private security who would tell him he was on or near private land and he was not allowed to drive there or be there.

Because I'm not 100% sure that I'd attempt to resist an authoritarian dictatorship IN MY OWN country (and no one can know something like that until they're actually put into that situation), so I'm sure as hell not gonna go white-knighting off to a foreign country/culture that I have no direct knowledge of. Hopefully that makes sense

Every investment vehicle is something where you want to be the first in and the first out. Crypto is far more volatile. I wouldn't call it a ponzi scheme though. Bitcoin is going to become obsolete, though. By the time the dust settles with blockchain technology, it's going to be dominated by the new generation ones that provide actual utility. That utility being a decentralized architecture for software, services and value exchange.

right. because it's not.

in a ponzi scheme early investors are paid returns using investments by newer investors.

I will go with the experts and actual economists.

It will not let me post the full link/url

ok, so then explain how early bitcoin investors are paid returns using investments by newer bitcoin investors?

that article makes a lot of assumptions.

Everything from your political opinions, opinions, consumer habits, health status, etc. Anything you've entered into a search box on google, youtube, social media posts, it is all being used to construct your profile in tandem with your actual spending habits.

Holland is about to pass a law that means any transaction over 100 euros will be recorded by the government itself. That's where this is going. Many banks are already questioning people when withdrawing moderate sums. Once CDBC is in place it won't just be curious questions, it will be enforced spending criteria and time limits on deposits to enforce spending. Rishi Sunak, now our PM, gave a talk on this very topic of programmable CDBCs.

When your profile is connected with CBDC's then you are tracked and monitored absolutely. It is the ultimate control system that can be used to modify and enforce behaviour across the entire population directly, instead of relying on propaganda and waiting for results. You can punish or even cancel people at the push of a button.

Everyone has become their own Gestapo agent reporting on themselves to a central authority so they can build up profiles on everyone in order to enforce the will of the state. Whereas the Gestapo used pen and paper and had to use agents to gather information, this system is completely digital with AI, machine learning, and has direct connection to everything.

Everything about this has been an absolute trainwreck, as expected =D very satisfying to watch, although I've been getting slightly annoyed at many of the mindless criticism (e.g. saying "free speech" 3 times each sentence).

This is the key, Elon's probably banking on verifying everyone first ( ) which would hopefully make it a more usable and advertiser friendly platform. But he's also going ideology first, and it should be in the opposite order. Or just stay away from anything politics, forever, which is almost always the smart business decision.

Yeah it has been fun watching him squirm between wanting to make a profitable business after the massive expenditure he did to take over Twitter, and the ideological corner he's backed himself into re: being a brave free speech warrior

It seems like there's a high probability that Twitter will turn into a massive white elephant for him. People generally aren't inclined to paying for something that they're used to getting for free

We'll see him squirming for way longer until he finally removes himself from basically all responsibility, and manages to shut up about anything political for once.

It's been 1 week! =D incredible really. Queue all the tweets preparing us for the masterclass in business and marketing Elon was gonna give us.

As if people interested in spreading hate speech wouldn't be willing to spend $8? In fact I think people with an agenda to push are going to be a whole lot more likely to pay $8 than randoms who are used to using Twitter for free who aren't trying to spread propaganda.

Besides that, of course, paying $8 to get your tweets to not be buried at the bottom is pretty far from "free speech". Well, will you look at that, Elon Musk our Lord and Savior of free speech... isn't after all! WHO could have possibly seen this coming??

Well what will happen is people will slowly start migrating to another free site ? Now’s the time for someone to become the next tek billionaire..I would think the smart thing to do would be for Elon to start another site that’s just like Twitter using its algorithms n code n whatnot that he is 100% owner of and try to force people over to that site, that’s what I’d do

Hilarious seeing journalists flee Twitter for Mastodon and then complaining about offensive content there when they're journalists that should know how to do due diligence but didn't, and are offended by content on a platform that uses decentralized servers that all have their own rules for each server

Wouldn’t a monthly fee reduce the amount of bots/trolls ? I mean I doubt someone is gonna pay 8$ A pop for a thousand bot accounts, I don’t use Twitter but it might actually reduce bots by a good bit, but then again I guess they could just have people do one of those choose the pictures that have a school bud in them things

Well yeah it might reduce bots, but trolls? Doubt it. People wo are posting politically motivated trolling stuff are pretty highly motivated to spread their message. And I mean, super-PACs are already spending hundreds of millions of dollars on Republican political ads. And you know they're making heavy use of twitter and other social media, too. What's $8 a month to these people?

I mean will it reduce angsty kids posting insults and mean shit? Yeah I bet it will.
