I judge Elon based on his track record and shit like the Hyperloop (does he not understand the concept of a subway train?)

And you just judged me on a hypothetical by assuming that I support Biden because I dislike Elon Musk. I can assure you that I probably dislike Joe Biden as much as you do. I just don't feel the need to act like disliking a President with a 40% approval rating is some radical and brave concept.

I think you're confusing two of Musk extremely stupid stunts. The hyperloop is the vacuum train concept that is proven to not really be possible afaik, he "released" a white paper detailing the concept, they've been "working on it" for over a decade now.
I believe you're thinking off the dumb tunnels that the Boring Company built, which would be extremely embarrassing to call a "Hyperloop" as it's just some cars (with drivers!!!) driving at slow speed through tiny tunnels.
A genius at work huh =D =D

That said, the "liberal" hysteria about unregulated speech and whatnot is also straight up embarrassing.
In the grand scheme of things this does really matter though, shit like Twitter that is something that countries like China don't have, and there's a lot of power there. Who knows what Musk would do as CEO, and he really needs to remain good friends with China to keep Tesla afloat. It has been clear that the US government wants some/more control over these large tech companies (misinformation!!! lol ... yeah yeah, control over Twitter can mean more control over what people think in years, that is the power of the now and future) and Musk really is just a loose cannon.
 
I really like Twitter too.
Best social medium imo, you can go every kind of way with it depending on the people you follow.

Who cares about Facebook and Instagram where you've seen everything after two minutes, boring.

Lol you were judging him on the hypothetical that he would censor things he didn’t like in the previous comment. Even though he has specifically said he expects his harshest critics to stay and be vocal on the platform. And my point wasn’t about not liking Biden, clearly I was pointing out the ramifications of the state censoring things it doesn’t like. The establishment used Twitter and other platforms they control to completely censor a real, major story, that polls showed likely would have changed the results of the election. I aways tell establishment liberals irl to ask themselves when the people that had to heavily censor were on the right side of history. I can’t think of a single example tbh

They essentially had to create the ministry of truth since it looks like Elon isnt going to let them deceive people via algorithm. There are crazy amounts of bots that astroturf pro establishment accounts, and pepper people they don’t like accounts’ with negative/resist^tm comments. We have already seen them covering tracks when many of the large wrong think accounts on Twitter started gaining thousands of followers and interactions all of the sudden.

I find this post does not explain the conservative establishment banning books in red states. I saw a list of books proposed for banning from TX libraries and the majority of them were about how NOT to be a racist, how NOT to be a homophobe, etc. Hardly anything that would entail indoctrinating anyone to act any other way than empathetic for people different than them. Explain to me how Tennessee banning the book Maus is not censorship to the heaviest degree.

Florida has managed to avoid subversion, but it takes strong anti establishment leaders like desantis to push back against globohomo in any sort of meaningful way. It’s not hard to find all of the specific reasons why these books are being rejected. They Infuse their creepy gender/sexual marxist ideology into the curriculum. All they can do is try and censor and deflect from how obvious it is Imo. The Libsofticktock account only reposts videos of these people proving everything that’s being said. This is why they had to ban it. The censorship and propaganda ‘explainers‘ only work on the folx already indoctrinated though.

Marx was an economist and philosopher. What does that have to do with sex or gender? Was it UF or FSU who closed down the Russian lounge because of supposed Marxist conversation? Why didn't they shut down the German lounge considering he was German?

I saw an interview of Pete Buttigeig today where he said if his son is in school and the teacher asks all the students what they did over the weekend, that in some places he would be punished for saying he went to the zoo with his two dads. How fucked up is that? What you are calling "creepy gender/sexual ideology" I call raising awareness of people different from you, mainly to prevent bullying. With the appalling passing of the legalization of gay marriage, this is the world we live in whether it fits your right wing Evangelical ideology or not. But I sometimes forget that the word "empathy" is considered a bad word amongst you righties.

I still have to lol at you calling people like DeSantis and Musk anti-establishment, as if the "establishment" doesn't include the wealthy capitalist ruling class on BOTH sides of the aisle.

Let me ask you something. Are you one of the conservatives like the ones at the Trump rallies, who likes to blast Rage Against the Machine? Like you don't realize who the Machine is they are Raging against? I'll give you a hint.... the establishment is the Machine. Bootlickers are the Machine. The capitalist elite is the Machine. DeSantis is the Machine and apparently, you are sympathetic to all of them.

I'm all for free, uncensored, and independent media and all that. But my question in regards to your post, is, what is it that makes Jack (former Twitter CEO) the establishment exactly?

As well, I honestly don't get the Elon stans. I mean, he's one of the richest men in the world. You can't get much more establishment than that.

I don't think he's buying Twitter as a benevolent ploy to enable free speech, and that idea is a little naive. It's obvious he is using it as a means to make more profit, both from the company itself and from increasing his platform to better control the narrative and the stock market.

You haven’t been paying attention enough, the hypothetical again, with Pete, made me chuckle. If I had to compare my politics to someone it would be a mix of RFK jr and rand paul. Voted drunpf but also voted for sanders.

Jack didnt have much control. Its controlled by the board who is directly influenced by large stake holders. Those being black rock and the like. The establishment/dnc pulled all of the strings which include censorship of specific things to squash them, bots to bolster certain accounts and disparage others, suppression of wrong think accounts, and the list goes on. Elon just saw it was happening, addressed all of these things in tweets, and has promised to make it open and transparent. The government didn’t just randomly decide to make a ministry of truth lol
